We had a wonderful guide! We also enjoyed the small six-person English speaking group! It was all we could wish for!

Wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide. It was an excellent combination of information about how the museum and its collection evolved as well as an overview of important pieces. French Impressionist painting was the highlight and was covered well.
A word of caution, however. My tour was a bit out of the ordinary. I was the only person on the tour. In effect, I had a private tour. My guide indicated that there could be as many as 25 people. If the tour group had been any larger than about 10, I would have found the experience very disappointing, given the cost. So, I advise checking on tour size before you book.
Fantastic trip. Knowledgeable guide.

Our tour guide was excellent. She was very passionate about sharing the history of the paintings and painter. It is a somewhat lengthy tour - my 17-year-old daughter was tired of it before it was over. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though. The walking tour was more a history of the artists than a tour of the museum. You do not see everything on the walking tour, so you may want to plan additional time in the museum.

Very knowledgeable tour guide and keen to answer our questions. I'm amazed at the capacity of tour guides to speak and understand several languages well.

The museum was beautiful but the tour was a bit rushed.

First of all, the tour did not start on time. We were made to wait while the latecomers arrived. Since we were told to arrive 15 minutes early, there was no excuse for anyone to be late. We then set out walking through the Tuileries Garden to the museum. There was no commentary given about the garden. We thought the tour would be entirely in English, but there were Spanish speaking people in our group, so the commentary was half in English and half in Spanish. So, we felt that we received only half as much information in the allotted time as we could have. We had the feeling that the guide did not want us to ask questions. As to the museum itself, it was fantastic. I would definitely go back.
