We had a ton of fun at this class. The chef was engaging and funny and welcome us into his home. He took the time to explain the eccentricities of the process while still staying on track. We each got to take home a box of our macaroons at the end of it and they looked very professional. Having the class in the chef's apartment was much better than some cooking school.
A good tip we were given, if you can, let the macaroons sit in the fridge for a day and then take them out an hour before you eat them. So good!

This was definitely a highlight of the week. Chef Frederic was wonderful - and provided us with such a fun and interesting afternoon. The macaroons we made tasted so much better than any we bought all week. We can't wait to try this at home! :)

Our experience was exceptional, rewarding and memorable. After a minor problem with our booking address, the staff ensured we received value for money. Bon Appétit and a big thank you to our chef - Frederic! Our next challenge will be to repeat the recipe at home.

This was a highlight of our trip! We had been buying macaroons all over Paris, and found them to be pricey for such a little treat. Then we saw how much went into making the perfect macaroon. It's not that it is difficult or that it has crazy ingredients - there are just alot of steps in the process to make them turn out perfect. We now appreciate the price! We took home about $50.00 worth of homemade macaroons - and didn't share with anyone!

This class was fabulous! My macarons almost looked as good as La Duree's. I was especially grateful to have a viator representative stay on the phone with me and give me walking directions as I found myself slightly, well maybe more than slightly, lost. Thanks!

Chef was great. He was friendly, helpful and did not mind the hundreds of questions asked. Chef also gave us excellent tips to remember when making macaroons and pointed out the pit falls that may arise. We had a great time and took home loads of macaroons which was shared amongst friends. We received the recipes via email and I can't wait to try and make them at home! Great class. Location not so great but all in all a great time was had by all.

I loved Chef Fred, and his class was great, but I never got the receipes he said he would e-mail to me. They are really important to me. Thanks for asking.

We did learn how to make macaroons, which was great but the experience was not as enjoyable as our other 2 cooking courses we did on our European trip. It was only a little bit interactive compared to our usual experience. It was new for us but over -priced for what it was. We paid well below half the cost for learning how to cook 5 courses in other countries.
