Great day trip. The bus left basically on time. We had enough time to see everything. The guide was fantastic, very knowlegeable. I recommend this trip

Fabulous trip. Two knowledgeable, personable, and patient guides, a very comfortable pace, a plush motor coach, and three of the most beautiful castles you could ever hope to see. Highly professional package. I wouldn't change a thing. Chenonceau was the highlight for me. If I ever get the chance, I'll go back and spend an entire day.

A really lovely day trip.. A long day but worth it. On the day we went we did not get to visit Cheverny but instead went to Amboise which I was more than happy with. A lovely chateau where Leonardo Da Vinci is buried in the quaint little chapel there and you also have lunch here in your free time. There is also a fabulous chocolate/sweet shop just near the stairs to enter Amboise and plenty of restaurants to eat at. We had the best meal of our trip here (the name of the restaurant escapes me though!!) ..Chambord is just massive and the only disappointment I had with this chateau is that there is very little to look at inside ie. no furnishings etc like the other chateau. However, the chimneys and the number of them on the outside are amazing..Chenonceau was really lovely with magnificent grounds and gardens. Could have walked around here for hours. Our English speaking (although with a French accent) guide was really great although my mum who is slight of hearing did have a little trouble understanding the guide. All in all, a great day out and it was nice to drive through a different part of France to what I'd already seen.

Such a wonderful excursion, we really enjoyed how the day was laid out. There was plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see at each castle. We enjoyed our guide and the information she gave us and then the freedom to explore on our own. A very memorable day.

We enjoyed this day trip thoroughly. A good activity out of Paris if the weather is nice.

super "LIKE"!!!
ventured into an hour or 2 bus ride going to Loire Valley and it was amazing. seeing the castles built centuries ago yet it's still there.
though restorations in Chambord is on going, it doesn't affect the beauty of the place.
bring foodstuffs as this tour doesn't include lunch.
will surely recommend this.

We were on a two-week vacation in Paris. Our daughter is a history-buff, and she wanted to see some chateaus in the Loire Valley. We didn't have time or money to rent a car, stay at a hotel, identify and find the castles, etc., so we took this 13-hour trip. It left promptly when it was scheduled, the bus was comfortable, the guide was great (informative, humorous, low-key). The three chateaus were well-chosen for us -- each was different than the others, and each was interesting. The tour wasn't cheap, but we got our money's worth. Recommendation: Bring a light lunch so that you don't have to waste time locating food to buy.

Although it was rainy and cloudy the trip was fantastic. The trip was nicely paced and never spent more than 2 hours on the bus. Comfortable trip and did not feel rushed. Loved the option to go into town for lunch. Castle tours were well done. Recommend it.

Our Loire Valley Castle trip was well worth the price. Every part was well organized, the guides’ comments (in English and Spanish) were of excellent quality and the bus ride was very comfortable. An extra “non inten-tional” joke was much appreciated by the English-speaking group when our guide pronounced “Henri IV who died without heirs” as follows: “Henry the Turd who Died Without Hairs”!

What a fantastic tour! The guide was great with all she had to say. The buses were very comfortable- I felt like I got great insights into the castles but was not overwhelmed with too much.

Very well organized one-day trip. Would have been difficult to do on your own, as many castles are quite remote and connected by country roads.
