This trip was a convenient way to see three of the most impressive castles of the Loire Valley in a simple day trip from Paris. HOWEVER, this is probably not the best way to experience these lovely castles, along with the surrounding towns. The visits at each castle were rushed and way too short! I felt gypped - and because of that, I felt that this trip was too expensive. As for the guides, they spoke English very well and were certainly intelligent and pleasant. I enjoyed having the guides to explain special details of each castle.

First of all, the people at the agency on the Rivoli were absolutely delightful. It's a long day, a lot to see, but I didn't feel I got to see enough or learned any more from the guide than I could have from reading a brochure. The "free time" at each chateau was just enough to almost literally run back to the bus. I had a ton of questions about the history, and the guide, though always cordial and polite, seemed to care less and more occupied with smoking cigarettes and looking for another smoking break where she could. I think she was bored. So all in all, I felt the tour was essentially transportation and was overpriced. Maybe your company has a lot of overhead, but still, I think this was too much money for 1 day and felt I was shortchanged for the price.

Someone please get me some armor! I instantly felt like a knight in shining armor, and then I realized I missed one thing....ESPN.

The scenery was beautiful, and the bus trip was pretty good, but the tour guide was very fast and there were too many people in the English tour. The guide didn't give us enough free time, and often we weren't able to hear her. In a tour like this, I think the guide makes the difference whether it is good or bad.

A very long day, most of the time spent traveling from Paris to the castles and between castles. After visiting the German castles there is not much to see on this ones. The whole visit is not worth doing.

The trip was too rush. We only had 20 mins in Chenonceau castle, and we were forced to get out and had lunch in a small town nearby. We didn't even have time to take pictures there. Many people in the group also complained about that. I think they should have a better schedule if we want to visit 3 castles in one day.
