Highly recommend this Loire Valley Castles Day Trip. Our tour guide (Amy) is very and knowledgeable. She made the whole trip a wonderful experiecne. History comes to life with her guide. The chateaus are amazing. Definitely a must do if you want to do a day trip from Paris.
We had a terrific trip to the Loire Valley! Our guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable. These three castles are well worth visiting... simply astounding.
Great day trip. We enjoyed it. Transortation was nice. The guides were knowledgable and patient. I wish the tour would include some extra free time per site (30 min) to have a chance to see the nearby villages on our own. For the price they should have offered some complementry drinks/water during this long distance bus ride.
Our guide, Amalie, was wonderful. Besides knowing the historical facts she also told us about day to day life in the castles. She made the whole trip fun!! The bus was comfortable too. Would definitely recommend this trip.
What can I say...? We absolutely loved our day trip to the Loire valley castles! The guide was fantastic and had a lot of knowledge about the castles. Our stop for lunch at Ambroise was lovely. What a gorgeous town! Anyone going to Paris for the first time should most definitely book this day trip. It is a must see.
Great day trip. The bus left basically on time. We had enough time to see everything. The guide was fantastic, very knowlegeable. I recommend this trip
Fabulous trip. Two knowledgeable, personable, and patient guides, a very comfortable pace, a plush motor coach, and three of the most beautiful castles you could ever hope to see. Highly professional package. I wouldn't change a thing. Chenonceau was the highlight for me. If I ever get the chance, I'll go back and spend an entire day.
A wonderful trip. The tour guide was outstanding. The chateauxs were magnificient.
A really lovely day trip.. A long day but worth it. On the day we went we did not get to visit Cheverny but instead went to Amboise which I was more than happy with. A lovely chateau where Leonardo Da Vinci is buried in the quaint little chapel there and you also have lunch here in your free time. There is also a fabulous chocolate/sweet shop just near the stairs to enter Amboise and plenty of restaurants to eat at. We had the best meal of our trip here (the name of the restaurant escapes me though!!) ..Chambord is just massive and the only disappointment I had with this chateau is that there is very little to look at inside ie. no furnishings etc like the other chateau. However, the chimneys and the number of them on the outside are amazing..Chenonceau was really lovely with magnificent grounds and gardens. Could have walked around here for hours. Our English speaking (although with a French accent) guide was really great although my mum who is slight of hearing did have a little trouble understanding the guide. All in all, a great day out and it was nice to drive through a different part of France to what I'd already seen.
We enjoyed the service right from Paris. the guides were gracious and the chateaux was stunning.
Such a wonderful excursion, we really enjoyed how the day was laid out. There was plenty of time to see everything we wanted to see at each castle. We enjoyed our guide and the information she gave us and then the freedom to explore on our own. A very memorable day.
