This is definitely a five-star tour. Our tour guide was excellent. Of course, it is a quick tour with visits to three castles in one day, but our guide made the best of our time by being prompt in picking us up at our hotel, guiding us through the entrance to each castle with the minimum of time and effort, providing lunch right on schedule, and so on all the way to the conclusion of the day. I really liked how we were given the history and background of each castle while riding in the van before we arrived so that, when we did get to the site, we were able to immediately begin touring, which maximized our time at each castle. I should also add that the lunch served with this tour was first class and delicious.
My husband and I took a Viator tour last year in Prague, and it was also an excellent experience. I would highly recommend the Viator tours to anyone.
Guide was great and the smaller group in the minivan made it easier. Weather was gorgeous, which meant the Easter crowds were heavy, but we had sufficient time at each castle to see what we wanted to. If you have a tight schedule and want to see a lot in one day, this trip is great.

At first I thought this day trip a little over-priced, but it was a fantastic day altogether, and our guide was very knowledgeable and eager to help show us around. Wonderful, thank you!

Beautiful day trip, again with excellent tour guide / driver and reliable hotel pickup service. The only minus was the lunch at the Cheverny Palace, it was not what we expected, I think it was a little bit expensive.

Fortunately Mother Nature cooperated and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Going by minibus rather than a tour bus enabled us to get to know the other members of our tour group. Chenoncheau Chateau, Cheverny and Chambord were everything I thought they would be and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. I'd highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys visiting a chateau or two. Our tour guide was great, giving us plenty of information about each chateau and allowing us free time to explore on our own and purchase souvenirs.

This trip was great! I love that we had our own tour guide and he was so knowledgeable about the whole area. He even told us stories about the kings' mistresses and everything!!!!

We chose this quite expensive arrangement to have a small group. Riding was good. Guide pleasant. Only disappointing thing was that our guide didn't accompany us inside the castles. She just explained a little bit about each castle and let us go inside on our own.

The tour itself is wonderful. Each castle, more like palaces or estates, to me was better than last! Worst tour guide of the 3 tours we took. Very little historical background given, couldn't answer questions about the region etc. The food was good at lunch with the best white wine I tasted on the trip. The entire table agreed the red was pure plonk, however.

Great lunch, good guide. Pace was adequate - enough time to see the 3 castles.

This tour makes for a marvelous introduction and overview of three of the most significant chateaus in the Loire region and if you have only a limited time to spend in the Paris vicinity, I highly recommend it. Please be advised, however, this is not a 'guided' tour per se. The driver provides information on the chateaus during the ride but once you arrive you are on your own.
