My daughter and I have a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the chateaus and the history of the area. We were picked-up and returned on time to our hotel. All in all a lovely day in the Loire Valley!
We were picked up in a new Mercedes three seat van. Only one other couple. This van had huge windows all round and glass roof great views. Good guide /driver we moved very quickly to furthest castle and were the first there Great to miss the crowds who we encountered only on the last visit. The meal at Chenonceau was very good. Not cheap but we got value and saw what we paid for
This was a great day trip - out guide was highly knowledgable and friendly, the small group size was perfect as we could get to know each other over the wonderful included lunch. We got to explore the 3 castles at our own pace which was excellent. I had a great time :)
We had a wonderful trip to the chateaus of the Loire Valley. Our guide provided very interesting historic and local information and generally made it a most enjoyable experience. We visited Amboise, probably our favourite as it is in such a picturesque location and there were few other tourists. Next was looked through the very beautiful Chenenceau were we also had an excellent 3 course meal with local wine. The final chateau was Chambord. A most grand and ornate buidling complex.
Very enjoyable to go with a small group. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, even though she did not guide us through the chateux.
A relaxing stress free day and our guide spoke good English. The Castles were amazing. We were glad we saw these first and then Versailles.
Excelent trip, surprising sites, excelent guide. Highly recommended.
The Loire Valley is very serene and lovely. The castle tour was magical and interesting. The day went by quickly and was well worth the trip. Very good guide and very well organized trip. Everything went off without a hitch. I enjoyed it and was happy that I did the tour.
David, the guide was outstanding. He spoke 5 languages and was entertaining and helpful. He even went beyond the job. OUTSTANDING
We had a great day trip to the Loire Valley. Our guide was very informative and a good driver through some heavy rain storms.
My pick of the day trips. Pick up and drop off to your hotel or apartment. leisurely paced. Max of 5 passengers. Lunch at Chenonceau was a highlight.
We were delighted with this tour. Our small group of 6 visited D`Ambiose, De Chenonceau and Chambord, formerly a hunting lodge. Our lunch was delicious, 4 courses in pleasant surroundings. The 3 Chateaus were diverse giving us variety. Our guide gave us information as required but we toured the chateaus on our own, with a booklet. Being picked up from our hotel and dropped back was great too. Very user friendly tour!
This was a most enjoyable trip for my husband and I. I was fascinated by the history and beauty of the palaces especially the very picturesque Chennonceau where we also enjoyed an awesome lunch. Our tour guide was great in answering all our questions and gave adequate time for us to wonder off and do our own thing. A lovely visit to do on a Sunday.
My two grandaughters and I are in to castles, so we loved it. Although the trip was fairly long 21/2-3 hours, it was well worth it. The lunch in the Orangerie at Chemonceau Castle was superb-more like a five course meal. I was disappointed that we were unable to tour Da Vinci's chateau-Clos Luce as stated in the info. We toured Amboise instead. You might want to change your info concerning this. Our driver was great - very courteous and informative. We were so glad we chose the mini van tour. We were picked up at our apartment and enjoyed a personal trip with another couple, then returned to our doorstep. My husband and I and two teenage grandaughters enjoyed this tour very much.
A great trip, really enjoyed it. It was very convenient to be picked up at the hotel. Our guide for the day was excellent and had a very good knowledge of Paris and the Loire valley. Loved the 3 chateaux, a very enjoyable day. I would give it a 5 star review.
There were 8 persons in our tour. My family of four (2 adults, 2 small children) joined another family. We enjoyed the tour. The tour guide/ driver was very kind. First stop was Chambord Castle. Next stop was Amboise Castle. Last stop was Chenonceaux Castle.

From the moment Celine met us at our hotel, we were confident that we were going to have a wonderful tour. She was well spoken host and guide; informed, friendly, and kept our small group apprised of the planned activities during the day's tour. Her knowledge of the history of the chateaus and her advise as to how to make the most of the excursion contributed to our enjoyment of the day. And the lunch at L'Orangerie at Chenonceau was fabulous.
The guide was very nice and active. She is knowledgeable and willing to explain all the history along the trip. The van was comfortable and the tour mate were all friendly.
I highly recommend this personalized tour. Which included a lovely lunch. Enough time was given to enjoy each location and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. A wonderful tour!!

Our guide Selina was excellent with lots of information and history. The tour was just the right length - not too much squeezed in to the day but still a full day.
It was fantastic. These small group tours are the way to go if you want extra attention. Our guide Sophie was lovely and attentive. The lunch at the chateau was fabulous.
The best thing we did on our visit to Paris. Our tour guide, Catherine, was perfect. She was informative without lecturing and handled a potential disaster with calm and cheerfulness -a person from our group got lost and we didn't find her for almost an hour which put us behind but Catherine managed to still fir everything in.Every part of this tour was enjoyable-we travelled through the beautiful Loire Valley and with the highlight for me being the visit to Da Vinci's home with models of his inventions, closely followed by the top class lunch at an orangerie set in magnificent gardens.Just do it.
