One of the best trips I have taken in many years of travel. The guide was incredibly good, excellent, in fact. Hang on to her!

After a week in Paris it was a really nice to leave the city and drive through the countryside to this awesome site. The bus trip allowed us an opportunity to see some beautiful landscapes. Mont st Michel was absolutely wonderful. We had lots of time to explore the village and thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

This was my excellemt all tie favourite of our recent Italy France trip. To be able to walk around inside this spectaculayr monastery/abbey built over 1,000 years ago is just awesome. The history and timeless grandeur of the Mont Saint Michel structure id spell binding. A full day trip well presented and executed by Viator.

Excellent trip given background history prior to arriving at Mont Saint Michel only made the experience better for the tour of the church ans abbey.Free time in town after let you then get a feel of the place in your own time.

This trip was absolutely perfect. The lunch at Mont Saint Michel was good, and the guided tour was really informative and organized. We didn't have a ton of free time in the village so I just made sure to leave the tour a little early to have enough time to walk around. It was a great trip and worth the price, and the hotel pickup and dropoff was an added bonus.

would have liked to spend more time in the abbey and go through it more slowly , with more information provided by guide; the guide was generally knowledgeable

The Mont St. Michel Day Trip from Paris was wonderful. The tour was very well organized and the tour guide was very sweet and informative. The tour bus was very clean and comfortable. Our tour bus was full and all seats were taken. They had well planned stops so we can do some shopping and use the toilet facilities. The lunch was at a very nice restaurant facing the Mont St. Michel. The luncheon was delicious and filling. Our lunch consisted of an omelet and then the salmon entree, then followed by dessert. We took a shuttle bus to the Mont and had a short walk to it thereafter. Had a wonderful time at Mont St. Michel but wished I had a little more time to spend shopping after the Mont tour. Overall, a fabulous tour...highly reccomend it.

I truly enjoyed my trip to Mont St. Michel - the bus was comfortable and the English speaking guide was excellent. I also enjoyed the lunch even though I don't eat salmon, I did enjoy the whole lunch. I have wanted to take this trip since 1995. Very enjoyable. 5 Stars rating.

Wow! By far the best thing I did on my trip to France. Mont Saint Michel is a place like no other in the entire world. The drive each way actually doesn't feel as far as you'd expect it would. I was hesitant about it, but there are wonderful window views on the bus so it goes by quickly. The food at the lunch was decent, but not the best. It's an omelet filled with fluffy egg whites, salmon with rice, and an apple tart. From the restaurant, I couldn't see the mont from my position, but there are windows all around the room that offer other phenomenal views. The trip in the monastery was very informative and we had plenty of time for photos. There are quite a few stairs though leading up to the top and back down, so take this under advisement before attending the guided tour. We were not given much time to shop afterwards (about 35 minutes) but over all, we had a blast and I wouldn't hesitate to take the trip again.

Mont Saint Michel is truly one of the best places in the world to spend time - and I am not a religious person. Our day trip was fantastic. The luncheon provided did not meet the needs of everyone on the tour, with several of the passengers requiring vegetarian meals only. Perhaps there needs to be an option for this on the order form. But overall we had a fabulous day and have already recommended to several of my colleagues who are also visiting France later this year.

I loved this tour (well, except for the rain, but even that allowed for a cup of tea.) The bus was very comfortable. the tour guide was perfect in her mix of telling us about the tour and giving us time to "contemplate".

At first, I was kind of worry about the "4 hours" ride, but that was surprisingly nice and enjoyable! The bus they use was a double decker, and we were all sitting on the top level. Ride was smooth and comfortable! Lunch that was included in the trip was pretty good too. The omelet - it's ok, very different, but the salmon was GOOD! Perfectly cooked! The apple pie at the end was very nice too. It's was a very nice lunch. But if you are a vegetarian, DON'T join the one with lunch!! It's a fix menu!! The place is very nice, even it was low tide when we were there. Inside the Abbey so so. But I still think it's worth going if you have spare time in France.
