It is a very long day, but well worth doing if you can't rent a car and do it on your own. We didn't choose the lunch option and just did lunch on our own. Be prepared to walk up a LOT of stairs, but the views at the top are well worth the effort. It was also nice to be able to bypass the lines at the top because we were with this group.

Well-organized. Guides well-prepared and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed everything EXCEPT the luncheon. It wasn't a good choice of restaurant. More choices rather than a set menu.

It was interesting, but drive is too long - 4.5 hours. Also, be ready to have not only English speaking people on the bus. In our case there was commentary in Japanese, English and Spanish and it takes too long to get enough information, because they speak about one object three times. Lunch was so so, omelet was very different as well as a cider. Be ready to spend at least 2 hours inside in cold rooms of Monastery. The guide was very educated and could give an answer to any question, plus she spoke English and Spanish. If your stay in Paris is short better do something else, do not kill all day by traveling 220 miles away, but if it's not your first time in France do it for a change.

Knowledgeable tour guide. Lovely setting, historical site and the great weather helped. Lunch was not particularly good, especially if one is allergic to eggs or likes them fully cooked. Skip the included lunch and eat in one of the many outdoor restaurants - we did and the experience was great. The steep climb up to the chapel should be obvious from the pictures, but the degree of difficulty is only apparent after having done it. Overall, I'm very glad we took this tour.

Mont St Michel is so wonderful, I like the feeling of seeing it for the first time, emerging in the horizon.

The tour itself was good. We were not happy with three tour guides on the bus and three explanations in three languages all day.

An optional audio tour would have been nice to offer since many of the participants could not keep pace with the guide but did do the complete ascent. It would have been nice to do the ascent to witness the noon mass and to have a late lunch. The restaurant is so over rated and experience was a negative to all the people at our table. The rest of the meal was mediocre.

The tour was great, the guides were very professional and everything was delivered as promised! I was very satisfied with the service from the tour provider however Mont Saint Michel was really too far away from Paris. It is only worth it if you are having a longer stay in Paris and have fully explored everything else. Since my stay in Paris was short, I regretted spending 10 hours on the bus. Mont St. Michel was impressive but there was not really that much to see there. I could have seen a lot more if I spend that day in Paris.

Although the Abbey is magnificent, nobody forewarned us that a very high, steep, 900-step climb was involved as a very important part of the tour. In spite of the difficult climb, the tour guide was in too much of a hurry, making it very difficult for many of us to keep up with her.

It's a fantastic castle, but the drive is too long and the time spent there was not enough. This was compounded by the fact that the guide was extremely extremely insensitive. We understand that she has a schedule to keep but being sensitive to the needs of a handicapped old lady would make the trip enjoyable for everyone.

The guides were very nice and and knowledgeable, but I would not recommend this tour. The website says the tour would be conducted in English, but it was also conducted in Japanese and Spanish. Very misleading website information.
