unexpectedly, we were the only ones with our guide. So it was a personal tour! we went the back way, so we walked up to see Sacrecure. very nice tour.
Wasn't aware of all the uphill climbing.....have a bad leg and walk with a cane. BUT, we did it!!! Definitely recommended. Our guide was outstanding and very thorough in her insights of the area. Glad we did it, in spite of needing a "stiff" drink and a lie down afterward. All the tours afterward during our stay was a piece of cake. We should have had a button that proclaimed "we climbed Montmartre" Didn't get a chance to go to the Musee d'Orsay, too tired.
The tour was amazing and our guide Eva was absolutely fabulous! She was extremely kowageable, passionate and had the best sence of humour!!!!This was one of my favorite tours!
This was a great walking tour of the Montmartre area and Sacre Coeur Basilica. First off, our guide was fabulous, his name was Romaine. Very knowledgeable and full of life. He gave us some great off the beaten path information as well as some great history. It was nice that the Skip-the-Line Musee d'Orsay ticket could be used another day. The Montmartre area was so enjoyable that my husband and I stayed and enjoyed lunch and exploring more on our own after the tour and went to the museum on another day. I would highly recommend it.
Fascinating. Awesome guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Easy pace, a quieter part of the city, which was nice for a change. Had the time and breadth to be able to enjoy.
This tour was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide for the walking tour was Marie, a young artist with strong opinions and a great knowledge of the history of the area. She was perfect. Only two couples showed up for the tour because it was raining, but this reduction is scale made the trip more enjoyable. We were on our own for the D'Orsay portion, but the skip the line tickets worked as advertised. Very nice experience.
Very informative and enthusiastic guide Eva was a pleasure as was the tour.
The guide for this Montmartre walking tour was great - knowledgeable, funny, and charming. He made the morning delightful. And, of course, the Musee d'Orsay is a special, beautiful place. All in all, a wonderful combination of things to do for a day in Paris.
A walking tour with beautiful intro to this area - home to impressionist art
Wonderful tour of this area of Paris with Maria!
Learned a lot and found this to be a great tour!
Our tour guide was knowledgable and made our time together very enjoyable!
An informative and fascinating walking tour thanks to our wonderful guide, Ava. We were lucky to get her all to ourselves and she has a wealth of knowledge of the area historically and currently. This tour gives a great insight into the lives of the people who have lived here that we wouldn't get just wandering around. The Musee d'Orsay is fabulous and we walked straight in to spend more happy hours immersing ourselves in some of the best art anywhere in the world. A day to remember.
Our guide, Pierre, was passionate and knowledgeable about the places and artists and gave us great insight into the time and works of the Impressionists. This is a great tour of Montmartre combined with the Skip the Line for the Musee D'Orsay!
Excellent tour! Pierre our guide was just simply wonderful and so very knowledgeable. He discussed not only the history of Montmartre, the impressionist painters who had lived in the area but other fun facts as well. Montmartre is a fabulous place to visit even after the tour. Will definitely go back again. The "icing on top of the cake" so to speak was the skip the line Musee d'Orsay ticket which we used immediately following the tour. The best museum EVER!!!! Could have spent a whole day there.
