An great tour of an old area of Paris. Our guide Tim did an excellent job. He provided a great deal of insight to the area and its history. You'll find the Moulin Rouge, areas where the Impressionist painters got their start, as well as Sacre Coeur, the church that overlooks the city. The area is dotted with cafes and shops. If you wanted to get a feel for the real Paris it's a very worthwhile tour.
Great, informative walking tour off the tourist track. It was great to see a a glimpse of the original Montmarte. The Musee d'Orsay entrance ticket is a great addition to the walking tour!
The Impressionist walking tour was a highlight of the visit to Paris. A well crafted journey through time, and around Montmartre that shone a light on the life and times of the artists and their community. Our guide kept the pace light, and the history easy to absorb (he also kept us in the shade - it was a hot day!) Chris, UK
Quentin, our guide, was fantastic. It was only the 3 of us and Quentin - so we had a private tour and covered so much. Brilliant tour. A MUST DO. Montmartre is SUBLIME!!! My favourite
Nice tour. Bernard was excellent and even took us to our cooking class following the tour. I liked the small group and the walk was not strenuous.
The tour company was excellent. Our guide was fantastic. He really knew the area and showed us things he had discovered (off the beaten track). This tour company does many walking tours and we were just sad we didn't have more time to do more of them.
Musee d'Orsay was very good as well. But - it is separate from the walking tour and unguided (that was not a problem).
But - again we paid for Musee d'Orsay tickets for our kids, who get in free.
Good and bad! LOVED the tour with Thomas, wished we had of booked more of these walking tours whilst in Paris, even the rain didn't spoil our day, lots of insight into the area and the artists and opened my eyes to an area I was previously not interested in. Bad though was when we realised later at the museum that our D'orsay tickets weren't in our pack, they did organise to get them to our hotel for the next day though which was really nice!
The guide was very friendly and informative. A delightful and interesting walk around Montmartre.
Lulu was the best guide that we had during our 10 day trip to France.
She was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.
Please congratulate her on a great performance.
Very great tour. It really help me to learn more about all the artist that I love, also about the neighborhood I'm staying in. Montmartre is a beautiful neighborhood , great way to see the back street you would miss if you were by yourself. Our guide was also great.
This was a very excellent worthwhile tourr. The guide was excellent we really got a lot out of this tour. Which we would have missed if we had walked through Monmartre without a guide.
This was so very enjoyable for me as I am an artist and teach both Art and Art History. I so appreciated walking the haunts of Van Gogh and Renoir. Our guide, Olivier, was superb with all his knowledge and winsome personality. This is a must for those who can walk the 1 1/2 hours up the hill of Montmartre and want to be where some of the Impressionists where.
The tour was terrific. After all my trips to Paris, I had missed Montmartre. The guide was by knowledgeable and spoke terrific English. She showed us all the great spots, walked us up and down the hills with great commenary and left us at the spectacular Sacre Coeur. We had a great time. And the "skip the line" tickets the following day were VERY helpful. I would definitely use Viatours again. Thanks for a great experience!
great tour guide and tour. perhaps offer a guide for Musee d'Orsay?
