Really got a good view of Paris, and walking around this area afterward was fun. The ticket was good for any day, so we got to pick one that was sunny.

Absolutely fantastic view from the rooftop of Montparnasse Tower. It is great to have Eiffel Tower in the picture. Marvellous view, especially at night.

Best views of Paris! Go at sunset or just before and stay till it's dark. You will get the best of both worlds. Paris when it's light and dark!

My fear of heights prohibits my visiting the Eiffel Tower, but this experience gave a wonderful view of Paris. Highly recommended and great value without the crowds and queues.

What can I say. The views are amazing. We had a lovely clear night and saw right across Paris. Well worth doing.

Fantastic roof terrace with amazing views of Paris. The Eiffel Tour lights turn on the flashing show every hour on the hour - so head to the Tower just before.

Amazing views from the top of this tower. We went up at night just before the hourly 'twinkle' of the Eiffel Tower, so we could see it from a perfect viewpoint, and the rest of Paris, too. Definitely worth it, spectacular views!

A must on our list...would have loved to know that it was included in the Paris Pass, so that the additional expense would not have been made. The cafe in the building had especially tasty meals, with a beautiful view of the city.

Many French citizens said the view from Montmarte and Sacre Coer is better, but I enjoyed Montparnasse Tower. You take the elevator to the 56th floor which is temperature controlled and has an overpriced cafe. There are map guides at different angles so you know what you're looking at. Best of all, you can take the stairwell up to the 59th, aka rooftop helipad!

Didn't have to queue for long and the view was breathtaking. A definite substitute for the Eiffel Tower if time is precious.

We were there at a great time of year. Not yet high tourist season so it was very quiet. We were afforded plenty of time and space. The only inconvenience was that the souvenir shop was closed midweek and because of high winds the roof top was off limits. However, the top floor was more than good enough for a spectacular view of beautiful Paris, taking photos was great and the restaurant served amazing food at very reasonable prices.

This was great at night. The Eiffel lights up at 10 and 11 for only 5 minutes, and my friend got an awesome video. It was very easy to get to by the Metro. Get there early to enjoy the cafe.

You get the best views of Paris without the crowds at the Eiffel Tower. Great way to see how close together various sites are -- what's walkable and what's not. Went on a drizzly day but still had good views.
