amazing day out

This was so fascinating. The bus was very comfortable and the guide had great info all the way there. A few comments... would have loved to have known what the lunch was before we arrived (and possibly have alternatives). I have food allergies and the main course that was served was something I couldn't eat. A detailed itinerary for the day would also be helpful - what sites we were going to see and how long we'd have at each location. But overall, I'd highly recommend this tour and Viator in general to anyone traveling and looking for tours. Great experience.

This day trip to Normandy was well worth it. Our guide was a well-educated French woman who had a good command of history and culture and shared it with us. Great lunch after we saw the Caen museum and then stops at the Allied landing sites. It's a very full day, but this makes it possible if your stay in France is a week or less.

This is a must do while visiting Paris especially if you are an American. Our guide, Carlos, was very professional and full of the history of the battlefields and beaches. The whole trip was everything we had been hoping for,. Don't miss out on this one!

We opted to spend the extra money and do the small group tour out of Paris .This trip was AMAZING. We were picked up on time from our apartment and driven out to Normandy. the trip took about 2.5 hours with a stop for coffee/pastries/ bathroom on the way. The canola fields were in full bloom and were just beautiful. Our guide, Celine, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The American museum and cemetery were great and very moving emotionally. Not enough time here, but we went so many other places we left with a greater understanding of the undertaking of that day, Lunch was also amazing. The whole day was simply fantastic(in spite of the weather!). Highly recommend.

A must see for those from the U.S. The American Cemetery was stunning. To read the stories in the welcome center brought tears to mine and others that were there. To see that almost 10,000 American soldiers are buried there. Many unknowns and 41 brothers really hits home. Our guide was well versed and helped to make the ride pleasurable. We covered a lot of ground and saw the best there was to see.

Incredibly powerful and emotion evoking, the beaches, Peace museum, cemetery and monuments and experience were all quite unforgettable. The return trip was quiet and reflective.
