The tour group leader was very knowledgeable and shared an abundance of information about the war and the battles fought at Normandy. Well done.

Professionally done. The usual deadheads in the group that made everyone wait, but manageable. You got to see all you expected on a tour of this type. I will recommend it to friends should the opportunity present itself.

We really enjoyed our trip to Normandy. Our guide was very good and we learned a lot about D-Day and the reclaiming of France by the allied forces. Can't think of anything we would have changed. One suggestion would be having better directions or a sign at the pickup spot.

You get to see everything as promised, and the tour guide was great. The only suggestion I have is to NOT watch the movie at the museum. It is simply a slide show and lasts far too long- it doesn't leave you enough time to see the rest of the museum.

All in all a good trip. The tour guide gave a decent summary of the events that led to WWII and background on the areas we passed. Lunch was decent but nothing too special at the Caen D-Day Museum. On the return trip back to Paris, we stopped at a road side rest area where you could snack up. If this is your first time in Paris or Normandy and want a stress-free day where everything is laid out for you, this is a great option.

Canadians considering this trip this review is for you! This was a very informative and emotional experience. The tour is geared to the American audience but still worth the trip. The movie at the Caen museum is certainly worth viewing because of the length of this film and the lunch hour we were somewhat rushed to see the rest of the museum. The longest stop is at Omaha Beach, 50 minutes. The shortest stop is at Juno Beach, the site of the Canadian Museum, only ten 10 minutes very disappointing to the Canadians on board the bus. With only 10 minutes there is not enough time to even venture into the museum itself. Our guide did pass along comments along the way, often as we passed by sites we would have enjoyed stopping at. Keep your camera ready at all times. We also took the Vimy Ridge day-tour the Canadian memorial is extraordinary. A trip well worth taking! Vouchers must be redeemed for tickets at the office prior to getting on the bus. Allow extra time in the morning for this, and be prepared for the bus to leave early as ours did 10 minutes early. Take a light jacket or sweater, as some sites are cool and windy. Lunch was not to our taste but it is the only stop with food and drinks until the end of the tour. There is a 30-minute snack stop following your 10 minutes at Juno Beach!

The museum stop in Caen is OK. The best part of that was the authentic French dinner which was prepared for all on the tour. It was fantastic! This part of the trip actually took up 4 hours of our time and would have been better served to perhaps include it at the end of our day with the dinner, and just the movie. The rest of the walking tour was too wasteful of our time. The beaches were a very moving experience. It makes you appreciate the lives that have been given for liberty. I would have enjoyed the bus driver making a few country side stops for photo taking as it was breathtaking and very unique.

The trip was efficient. While the museum was interesting, I would have elected to spend more time at the beach sites, particularly the cemetery. The sit down lunch was good, but I would have rather had a box lunch on the bus and spent more time seeing the different sights. Driver and host were good.

A well-organised tour, with a comfortable bus and professional guide. It is a big day, with a lot of travel crammed in, but there was enough time at each of the major stops to take in the scenery and reflect on the history. I was lucky to have great weather. I'd recommend this trip to someone wanting a general orientation to the battlefields, but those wanting to spend more time e.g. to find a family member's grave would be advised to do it under their own steam. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the tour operator and the Viator booking process.

Take a small flashlight to look in the bunkers. Wish we had more time to spend at the cemetery so we could look more and go down to the beach longer.

Great experience. One day is not enough, though. Comfortable travel, fantastic bilingual guides, well organized and friendly service.

We didn't have a lot of time but wanted to visit the Normandy Beaches and American Cemetery, this was a fantastic tour and thoroughly recommended if you're in Paris and only have 1 day to dedicate to such a tour.
