This trip was well worth the money. It was amazing to see the places where soldiers fought for our country. The guides were helpful and provided good commentary. Since each site was a bit of a distance from the previous site we did not get very much time at any one place. More time is the only thing that would have made this trip better.

The tour guides could have done a better job. I had a hard time understanding the French accent on both. But all in all, an enjoyable and memorable day.

The tour itself was great. The drive through the countryside from Paris to Normandy was beautiful. The first stop at the Museum was very informative and the lunch provided there was a real treat. Seeing the various beaches and the American Cemetery really brought into focus the difficulty of the landing and the enormity of the battle. I'm so glad we took this trip! On the negative side, the bus we rode in had overhead air conditioning nozzles like on an airplane. When the motor was turned off at each stop and we got out of the bus, condensation from the air conditioner leaked out of the nozzles causing many of us to have to sit for most of the trip on seats that were soaking wet. This was very unpleasant, as it was quite a long drive to the beaches and then back to Paris.

The guide was very knowledgeable about the subject and very polite. The other guests were interesting, and lunch was a great time to get to know them. It was the best way, in my opinion, to see Normandy, which is a very big region. We could take pictures out of the bus and got many chances to look around on our own.

The bus was comfortable, and the guide was informative. I'm glad we did it, although it makes for a long day. Every American needs to understand what happened there and the sacrifices made by our military.

We certainly enjoyed the trip to Normandy. It was very educational. One problem was that the place to start the trip in Paris was around the corner on a different street from the address we had been given by Viator. I stopped in a hotel and was given the correct address. It all turned out very well.

I totally loved doing this trip. It meant a lot because my grandpa fought in the war with the allies. I would have liked to make a stop at Juno beach to see where the Canadians landed, I am Canadian. I learnt a lot I never knew. The bus was very relaxing and comfortable. Really really enjoyed it. Great time to reflect and be thankful!

It is very easy to get to the office if you are staying in central Paris (so don't let the early start put you off!) but a taxi is the best way if you're not used to the metro or aren't within walking distance. We enjoyed the 'mini tour' of Paris on the way out of the city. The war museum was not our thing and we would have preferred more time at the American cemetery and maybe actually stopping at the Canadian monument, but overall an excellent trip with a fantastic commentary. If you have time take this tour.

Too much time was spent at the museum at the beginning of the trip. I would have preferred more time at the museum at the cemetery. The meal was very good.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about events of the war and the sites we visited. However, the choices of the sites and the timing could have been better. We spent three hours at a museum in Caen, including lunch. The lunch was excellent, better than I would have expected. The museum was fine, but many of the exhibits were in French so were not of as great an impact for those of us who are French-challenged. We then went to a bunker site, a little rushed. We then went to Omaha beach, and unfortunately, we could not even see the beach, nor did we stop there we just drove by it. My husband was very disappointed by this. Next we drove by other beach sites, with the same result. Finally, we went to the American cemetery. We had an hour there, which was okay, I suppose. The trip was worth going on, I suppose.
