Brilliant - absolutely worth every cent. The tour is long, but you still feel as though there is so much more to see. Information provided by the guide on the way to Normandy was interesting and great background for the sites visited. Very highly recommended.

The trip provides a solid introduction to the Normandy Beach sites, and delivered as advertised, accompanied by a good, informative guide. Keep in mind that as a day trip out of Paris, it's a good three hour drive both ways, and the remaining time is divided across five stops, so the stops indeed feel a bit rushed. That's why I call it an introduction. A good introduction, but an introduction nonetheless. British and Canadian tourists might be a bit disappointed with the emphasis on American troop landing sites.

This was a great tour for what you get to see. It's a long, but beautiful drive out to Normandy. The lunch was nice, but I would have preferred a shorter lunch and more time at some of the beaches.

Great trip! Tour guide was great as well. I only wish we had more time. But we did a lot and saw a lot in the limited time we had. The only thing I would change is go for 2 days instead of a single day.

Great guide. There is not enough time at the Caen museum, but to see all the rest in one day, it was a sacrifice worth doing. The two films are worth seeing, different from your History Channel. The split screen showing Allied and German films at the same time gave you a good sense of how it fared for each side. The lunch at Caen was great, the food had enough variety that even the picky eaters at our table had a nice lunch. The cemetery is overwhelming, but take time to tour the visitor center. Again, not enough time but at least I got a sense of everything. Pointe-du-Hoc is the best of the coast line visited, as the beaches are, of course, developed. I wish they would do an overnight tour!

Better than I imagined. Breathtaking, gave you the chills. We met 4 Englishmen who had been there during the invasion, and they told their stories. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He is a real asset to the tour operator.

My finace and I enjoyed every part of this tour. He was in the Army and I think that actually being on the grounds where so many men fought for our country was just amazing for him to see. I also enjoyed the trip it was very educational and I think that this tour is something that every American should do if they have the chance. It is a huge part of our history and I felt such pride in my country standing on those beaches and knowing that so many men gave for so many others to have a better way of life.

My husband and son LOVED it. Even though the day was long they said they could have stayed for hours more. A wonderful experience.

My son and I were very impressed with the Normandy beaches and would definitely go back to spend more time. This was a great overview. Good solid commentary, lunch nicely done, interesting people on the trip, overall great day! Would do this again no question.

I am very satisfied with the guide and with tour as such, but certain things related to information and documentation could be improved. The starting point was at rue de Rivoli and not at rue d'Alger as stated. The guide had never heard about Viator. The lunch was at the museum in Caen. The given information was not correct. Some simple, written information would have been most desirable. Such as a map of the area and some historical notes of the D-day operations.

This experience was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable about the countryside, the battle and any related questions. The lunch was delightful and the scenery very picturesque. I would recommend this trip as a side trip to anyone interested in WWII or military history.

We certainly enjoyed the trip to Normandy. The guide on our tour was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great information. The lunch, which we took as an option, was fine. However, the restaurant offered no choices just the one meal of fish which only three out of six at our table ate, another choice would have made it more enjoyable. The beaches and cemetery were very moving and emotional to visit. We would not have missed it, and recommend the tour. The pick up point is different to that in the documentation. A long but very rewarding day.

I had a wonderful time and it may have been the highlight of my vacation. Well worth the time and expense if you are a history buff.
