What You Can Expect

Not the least bit strenuous, the bike tour is relaxing, energizing and fun. Stopping every few hundred yards for information and photo opportunities, the tour provides heaps of useful information, unique and fascinating stories, the opportunity to meet other travelers, and fantastic photo opportunities.

The bikes are comfortable and you'll receive superb personal service from your guide. During the day there is a break at a cafe nestled in the trees of the Tuileries Gardens. For a very reasonable price, you can enjoy a mouth-watering strawberry crepe, a delicious chicken sandwich on baguette bread, or creme brulee.

Sights on the Paris Bike Tour include:
  • Eiffel Tower - The most famous landmark in Paris. Built for the World Exposition of 1889. It stood as the tallest building in the world until New York's Chrysler Building in 1930.
  • The Louvre Museum - Originally built as a fort by King Philippe-Auguste in 1190. Now one of the grandest museums in the world. The most famous works include the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo.
  • Napoleon's Tomb and Les Invalides - This is where you can find the most famous Frenchman of all - Napoleon. In 1789 French citizens stole tens of thousands of muskets from here to use in the raid on the Bastille. The Revolution had begun!
  • Ecole Militaire - Literally translating to "military school" in English. Napoleon studied here and his discharge papers stated that he "could go far if the circumstances are right."

You will also see the Arc de Triomphe, the Rodin Museum, Place de la Concorde, the Orsay Museum, Assembly Nationale, the Alexander III Bridge, the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, La Madeleine, UNESCO, the Champs-Elysees, the Tuileries Gardens and much more that you can only see with the freedom of bicycles!

Our Aussie guide Chris was very informative and friendly and made sure we were all comfortable and safe as we rode through the streets of Paris. This is a great way to get some confidence before hiring the Velib and going it alone.

Wonderful tour and our guide Jordan was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended if it's your first time in Paris to be done at the beginning of the trip.

This was a fantastic way to see Paris! Our guide Thibeau?was both informative and entertaining and combined the right amount of both. We stopped frequently enough to take photos and enjoy the views but not enough to get bored. The Paris traffic was occasionally daunting but our guide was very safety conscious. Highly recommended!

The day tour was so much fun that we booked the night tour as well. The day and night tour are different so we saw so much of Paris in a fun way. Our tour guides were fun and informative. The night tour includes a cruise on the Seine with wine provided. The ride back post this is .....interesting! Highly recommend

Great tour by bike. The streets were very busy but the guide was excellent in guiding the group through the area. Very knowledgeable guide and fun personality. The lunch stop had good food options and quick service. Would definitely use this company again.

Absolutely loved the bike tour. Would highly recommend this for anyone going to Paris. You see just about every important monument externally and receive a concise background on each place. It was great to be outdoors and our guide, nick, was fantastic. In the day trip, you stop for lunch in tullieres garden which was delicious. I would do this trip again when I am in Paris and will look for it in other cities.
Ps. This is not difficult ride so don't worry if you aren't an avid cyclist.
