Jennifer was very knowledge, I truly enjoyed learning about the history of chocolate making.
It was nice to walk around and learn more interesting facts about Paris as we walked and tasted
The wonderful chocolates, and Jennifer told me the processes of making the chocolates , and the chef's
Behind their awards and shops.
I ate all my chocolates and pralines , I bought on my Emirates flights back home.
C'est la vie!
This is a fantastic tour. Maria, our guide, was knowledgeable about chocolate and the shops we visited. My 12 year old granddaughter did this with me. It was both of our favorite tours in Paris. It was different and just the right amount of time. We loved all the shops we went in and all the salespeople in the shops were so nice.
Our tour was terrific. Our guide, Jennifer, was interesting in her own right. She made the tour fun and informative. We learned not only about the history of Paris, but the history of chocolate and the various shops too. We are all now big fans of macaroons! The only thing missing was being able to see the chocolates being made, but it was the weekend before Christmas, so all the shops were very busy. I hope we are able to go back at some point and take the cheese tour.
We had an awesome tour guide and a wonderful day. Our tour was not only about chocolate but it was sprinkled with Paris lore. The shops were beautiful and it was far more than I expected. I would highly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed the chocolate walking tour. Each stop was unique and our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about each shop we visited and the chocolates we would be tasting. We especially appreciated her patience and bubbly personally since this was the afternoon before Christmas.
This was excellent. Was just the tour guide with my husband and I. We learned a lot about chocolate that we never knew. She was very knowledgable and friendly. Definitely a fun and yummy tour.
My wife and I loved this tour. Our guide, Adeline, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. We learned about the area, some French history, and a lot about chocolate. We went to 5 different shops and our guide explained to us some of how they make their products, and what that shop is known for before trying each shops "specialty". This tour is not a "behind the scenes" tour with the shop, but more of an independent tour. We really liked this approach because some of the tours sponsored by a store are very high-pressure as they want you to buy a lot of their products. We probably would not have found these shops on our own so this tour was perfect.
For a chocolate lover...It was my favorite tour!! Our Twin 11 year old girls and a 9 year old son were loving getting to choose whatever piece of chocolate they wanted....they could not believe their luck. Even my husband who is not a chocolate fan had a great time. Our guide Marie was amazing and very knowledgable. This tour gets 5 stars and as an avid traveler I normally don't give 5's!!
This was a very special tour. The guide was priceless and the information he provided was extensive. The tour was fun and the chocolate was excellent. Highly recommend this tour.
We learned more about Paris on thus tour, than we did the entire week. The guide made it the best! It's not too crowded, and very pleasant time was spend in Paris.
How can you go wrong? Paris and chocolate are the perfect cmbo!
Fascinating tour with a friendly and informative guide. Great fun.
This tour was wonderful -- our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about chocolate and Paris history, and very engaging and energetic. the five chocolate stores we visited were great -- and the samples "just right" to be fully satisfied but not too much.
Wonderful experience. Our guide was knowledgeable with French history and history of chocolate. We higly recommend it.
Roberto was a knowledgeable and charming guide. The chocolates were delicious and he also talked about the history of the city and the neighborhood we were in. He even recommended a new boutique for caramels (not on the tour) that I thought was better than the ones recommended in my gourmet magazine.
