Had a wonderful tour with a great guide. Because it was a small group, we managed to see some things that were not on the "tour". Was a really nice day; wonderful to walk and chat and of course EAT! A nice way to see the Latin Quarter.

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, there was only us two on the tour so had 1 to 1 communication with the guide. She even took us to monuments and landmarks explaining the history as well as the chocolate and pastry tasting. Well worth doing, we both highly recommend it.

Very nice tour guide and the food/chocolates were excellent. I enjoyed getting to know the guide and the walk in the park. I did think that the guide could have explained a bit more as far as behind the scenes and how the chocolate was made. Besides walking from place to place and eating, I did not feel that informed about how the chocolate was made, who buys it, etc.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. I appreciated the fact that the group was small.

I would never have found the shops so quickly if I was on my own, but I also expected to see more than just the sales room. I expected to see at least one of the working rooms where they made the chocolate pastry.

I saw shops and tasted food I would have easily walked away from if I did not know what it was.

Great tour!!! I would only change one thing: I would have rather 'tasted as I go' instead of 'tasting everything at the end of the tour'.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us extra information on Paris during the tour. However, the pastries we got to taste were not what we expected. When we saw the picture on the website, we assumed it was an example of what we would get to taste. Unfortunately, we only got to taste small pieces of boxed chocolate and some bread. The chocolate we did taste was good and new to us, but we thought we were going to get to try chocolate cakes and tarts and things like on the picture.

It was just O.K. but could have been better, especially considering the price. The guide was nice but not overly knowledgeable. We stopped at 4 chocolate pastry shops, and the samples were VERY limited. Maybe 2 pieces at one stop. Half an eclair at another. One macaroon at another. And a couple of samples at another. I expected more. Not worth the money by any means.

Thought the tour would bring us to where the pastry and confectionery was being made not just around to shops we could have gone to ourselves.

The tour and selections of chocolatier/bakerys was very good, but the guide had to little knowledge of chocolates and pastry. The tasting itself is only a minor part of a tour like this.

Great to taste the specialties at several chocolatiers and pastry shops as you may not recognise them from their windows - some looked like jewellery shops. Price was very expensive considering the guide gave no commentary about the topic and part of the time was spent visiting sites that had nothing to do with chocolate or pastry. Wouldn't recommend it to others unless it was significantly improved or the price was reduced.

The tour was not really a gastronomic one, we got the addresses of the best pastry and chocolate places in Paris and that's about it. There were no details about preparation or any behind the scenes tours. It was very useful, no doubt, but we definitely expected more.

The guide was late and for the price you could had been given a map and more chocolate samples!
