This was a great tour of the finest chocolatiers, bakers and pastry-makers in Paris and a lovely walk around St. Germain des Pres. My guide was very knowledgeable about chocolates, pastries and France's history with these delectable goodies. I have already recommended this tour to my friends who live in Paris and often look for tours like this for their guests, and to my friends who plan to visit the city. The best part, of course, was to taste all the exquisitely-crafted Parisian chocolates and pastries! They were divine. My only word of advice to those wanting to take photos on the tour is be sure to ask in advance in the shops whether or not you can take photos -- for some strange reason, a few have a real issue with people taking photos of their products.

Our afternoon walking the streets of Paris in search of the perfect chocolate and pastry was absolutely great. Our guide, who speak excellent English, was very knowledgeable and a true lover of chocolate! I can highly recommend this tour.

This is absolutely the very best tour around. Our guide was perfect; she was able to spend the entire day with us since she was also the guide for our first tour of the day. She was knowledgeable, friendly, warm to us newcomers, and patient with our questions. Since she is also on staff at Le Cordon Bleu, and she knew most of the shop owners as they participate in the classes at the school. She taught us about chocolate, what to look for in good chocolate, how to use it to its best advantage, and allowed us to sample unbelievable examples of the best chocolate in the world. We are so glad we chose this tour - it was a true highlight of our 25th anniversary trip to the City of Lights!

This tour was fantastic! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, the shops, and Paris life in general. Her English was excellent as well. Her presence made us welcomed and comfortable in all of the shops. It was well worth the money! It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Our guide shared her knowledge of chocolates and pastry as well as some history of local buildings. It was fascinating!

It was an enjoyable way to experience how Parisians might actually live. We visited four chocolatiers. Each had their own distinctive products. We went to two bakeries, and one gourmet food shoppe. We had samples in each facility. The guide was interesting, although a bit hard to understand. We were glad we did this tour.

Our guide was delightful, and we loved trying all the different confections that Paris has to offer. This is such a nice way to spend an afternoon in Paris, whether it is your first visit or your tenth. I just wish we had bought more chocolate to bring home and share or not.

Our guide was so sweet and truly loved her city. Not only did she do a great job of showing us around the patisseries & chocolatiers, but she took us on a side tour of Jardin du Luxembourg, which was lovely. It wasn't just a tour of chocolate and pastry, but a telling of the history & culture of Paris via their foods. Definitely a must-do.
