Very fun and the guides were great. I think you need to be clear as to how much time this takes for each tour. The day bike tour was enough for us.
Loved the tour, guide was terrific and we had lots of fun. Evening cruise was very good and it was great to see Paris by night. Our bike tour got to see the Eiffel Tower sparkling. Easy ride and I highly recommend.
Although the weather was rainy and gray, our guide April keep us smiling. Our rather large group of cyclist dominated the road. We saw many fantastic Paris sights that day and thanks to April, we got a great overview of what we wanted to explore on our own the other days of our trip to Paris. I highly recommend the tour company.
Excellent way to get a historic overview of Paris, especially when you first arrive. Even in the rain and cold , my wife and I were both pleased with our guide, the ride and the path we took to cover many of the main attractions. Well worth the money
Took both the day ride and the night ride. Both were good but liked the night trip a bit better because the river cruise was really nice. Would definitely recommend - but you have to be able to ride a bike. Some of the tourist were pretty lame and it made the rest of us spend too much time waiting. Come on - yellow means hurry up not slow down!
We had a fantastic experience on the bike tour. The staff at the fat tire bike shop was very helpful and accomodating. This is the first time we toured on bicycles in a new city and we thoroughly enjoyed the active touring experience. In the past we enjoyed hop on hop off tours, I think we will select the cycling tours from now on. "The bicycles were in good condition, the helmets were provided, the reflector vests were provided, the cycling routes were not strenuous and well thought out, we saw all of the sites on the map including a few art galleries, and haunts that famous authors frequented that I did not know were in Paris; the guides were very knowledgeable. It was perfect." The guides were very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the sites; the guides were able to tell stories about myths surrounding the city. The trail that we cycled on was relatively flat so it was not strenuous and this was a big plus as I was concerned that the hills would exhaust us. We were so excited after the first half of the cycling trip we walked to the Champs DAlysee and did some more sight seeing until the second half evening tour. The evening tour is exciting as one can see the city lit up. (Oh! The ice cream could have been better-a bit too granular and not really fresh...we have been to Italy and the ice cream was better :) The Seine River Cruise was informative and relaxed; the vino was a perfect way to end the cycling!. Considering the price, this is a fantastic deal - I would highly recommend it.
Doing a bike tour is a fantastic way to see the city. we are recommending to all our friends and family that they start any visit with a bike tour. We really enjoyed it.
Amazing guides. Paris is an amazing city by day and night captures a whole different city mood. I enjoyed this tour immensely and would highly recommend it especially if your traveling solo. A great way to meet other people. Do it.. Book it NOW!!
Friday 8:00 out to buy fruit for pre-breakfast. 9:00 Breakfast in café (croissant!). 10:00 Metro (all those stairs!!) 11:00 Start 4 hr bike tour (Guide an American from Texas) which includes lunch in the Jardin des Tuileries (Toilets at least half a km from the restaurant!). 15:00 finish bike tour so smart walk to Eiffel Tour to join ‘queue skipper’ group with guide (who was Spanish from Málaga). Lots of stairs there and vertigo kicked in so no higher than 2nd platform. Louise went to the top! Then back for quick snack before joining 4 hr night bike ride at 19:00, which included a cruise on the Seine. Then more stairs in the Metro and back to the hotel about 00:00.
It was the best way to see Paris. The guides were fantastic and made the day fun.
Great value for money.
Highly recommend both afternoon and evening bike tours of Paris. Afternoon tea in the Jardin Des Tuileries was lovely, especially the crepes and hot chocolate. It was lovely to see the Paris icons lit up in the evening and the river cruise which formed part of the evening bike tour was very relaxing.
We booked the day and night cycle tour/ cruise combination. Kevin was our afternoon guide and he had plenty of amusing stories as well as several facts about the places we visited. The riding wasn't strenuous at all, but we had to be serious crossing certain roads and moving en masse (dominating) through traffic. We went past the Eiffel Tower, place de la Concorde etc etc too many to list. A long stop over at the Tuileries Gardens, which were very tranquil and there were refreshments for sale.
Due to rain we decided to split our booking when it was offered and came back the next day for the evening ride and cruise. This did not include as much information- more riding instead, but still easy! After cycling around the Louvre, we enjoyed a stop on the lovely Ile St Louis for the nicest glacé I've ever had! Cruise -1hr-was great with wine and a sparkling Eiffel Tower to top off a delightful day! Back to base at 11pm. Would definitely do again!!!
I only did the Day Bike tour as I had to reschedule due to my luggage not arriving. This tour operator is a professional, well organized bike company. The pace was leisurely and the guide (Dawn) made sure everyone knew where we were going, especially when we had to ride the bike lanes in traffic. I have done other bike tours and this one is one of the best. You have lots of time to see the sights as well as take pictures. The company also allowed me to have a credit for the Evening Bike tour so when I come back to Paris, I can join the tour without having to pay again. That's A1 customer service! Thank you.
Different routes for the day and evening tours meant that we covered a lot of ground and sights - so a great way to see Paris. River cruise was a great way to finish the day!
Went for both the 3pm and 7pm bike tour.. both guides were awesome and knowledgeable! Easy and fun ride! The only thing was there wasnt much rest time between both tours so dont go with an empty stomach, good idea to pack a sandwich or something. Everything else was great! (:
Both of my guides were fantastic. Always felt safe and like they knew the city well. I appreciated that Andrea waited 2 extra minutes in front of the Eiffel Tower so we could see the light show. Other groups from the same company were there and left literally one min before it started.I'd be pissed.
I would recommend this to everyone travelling to Paris! Such a fun way to tour the city and learn a bit of history. The bike riding was very leisurely, easy for all abilities!
It was so much fun! If you want to be outside seeing Paris and exercising so you can eat or drink later then this was great! The boat park of the trip was great too.
It is the best way to see paris, the guides there are extremely helpful, and are a wealth of knowledge, thanks for a great day
My husband and I particularly liked the morning bike tour. It was a bit more leisurely and we learned more history about the sites on this tour than we did on the evening tour. Our morning guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The best part of the evening tour was seeing the city's lights at night - quite beautiful. The Seine boat ride was fun. We particularly enjoyed the close up views of the Eiffel Tower at night when the lights were on. I must say we were tired after the end of both bike tours, but considering that we are in our 50s and 60s, we did very well. Folks should take into consideration that the evening tour is a little more physically demanding because you travel further without stops.
