Arthur, our guide, started off a bit rough. To his credit, he listened to the group, made some adjustments, and everyone had a great time. We literally felt like Arthur was showing us his backyard.
Took the Paris Walking Tour with Alix as our guide, she was great, Saw many parts of Paris that where fantastic, you would never see these sights on your own. Took many tours in France this year and ,Spain,Italy, and France last year and this was one of the most enjoyable, not to mention one of the least expensive. You can"t miss with this tour. Jerry S.
Arthur, our tour guide, was flexible, funny and knowledgeable. This was the best way to kick off our first day in Paris.
We did this tour with Arthur as our guide. Unknown to us and the American family also with us on the tour, it was a public holiday in Paris and the macaroon shop and the market were both closed. However, Arthur was not to be put off by this little inconvenience and re arranged things so that we dido,t miss out on a thing. He was certainly knowledgable about his city, and we discovered so much in our three and a half hours. Arthur went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable , stopping for rests every now and then, and we enjoyed his tour immensely. We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about the real Paris.
Maria was an excellent tour leader giving us a clear outline of paris through the side streets. Lovely girl with lots of personality who gave us excellent advice on places to visit
I thought this was just great, the guide was excellent, and we saw and heard about places most would not have discovered without a 'leader'. Our guide gave time and had an excellent rapport with the wide age range of our group. To be recommended.
The walking tour started off with areas that one would not consider "secret" or "hidden", but our tour guide soon has us exploring some really obscure places that are not in the tour books. Arthur was a knowledgeable guide who took time to talk to everyone in the group individually. He made us feel as though we were a team. We highly recommend this tour - especially if it is your first day in Paris.
We met our tour guide, Bart, at the place de la Concorde. He was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. This tour was marvelous and memorable. We strolled down narrow streets, walked through charming Passages, visited churches and theaters and points of interest we may have missed or spent precious time trying to locate on our own ... enjoying Bart's comments along the way. We stopped at one place and enjoyed a delicious macaroon. Later, we stopped and enjoyed a delicious assortment of cheeses with that marvelous French bread!!! Our tour ended at the Pompidou. Bart was very helpful in pointing out metros and directions. My friend and I were so glad we chose this tour. VIATOR is very helpful in scheduling their tours
Great picture opportunities and information. We went down alley ways and small side streets. Loved the macaroon break and the cheese tasting. Both were delicious.
Arthur provided an interesting narrative and animated walk through a number locations, places I don't think we could have ever found ourselves.
A wonderful, interesting tour. Arthur was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable and interesting.
Arthur, was our guide on this tour. He was fantastic, we had such fun, he went out of his way to answer all my diverse questions..He even went overtime to finish the tour. One of the BEST tours I've been on. A highlight of my short time in Paris!! Highly recommend this tour, and him personally There were only two of us on this tour which made it more personable, which added to our enjoyment.
Very nice tour.
The fude mage it interesting and special
My tour was supposed to be on Friday, but the guide, Arthur, called and asked if I could do it on Saturday with other people. I'm so glad he suggested it. There were just 3 of us, and despite the rain, it was a delightful experience. Arthur was wonderful, a charming young man who took us into the 8th arr. These were indeed "hidden gems"; I never would have found the spots we visited. The tour included a stop to try macaroons and a visit to a cheese shop for samples; because we were all a bit wet, we decided to stop at a café for coffee. We walked through old shopping arcades, passed unique works of public art and ended up at Pompidou Centre. Again, our guide made it a very special morning for us all. I highly recommend this tour.
