Very good tour. The guide was relaxed and made the 3 hours fly by. Highly recommended.
This was the best tour we had of Paris! Arthur, our tour guide, was helpful, knowledgable and humorous. He showed off his city like the Parisian. We left with many positive memories. I recommend this tour as the first tour anyone visiting Paris should take. We enjoyed the stops to to he shops and the samples of cheeses and other goodies.
Loved this tour of hidden paris streets and to the Macaroon and cheese shops. It was very hot that day, otherwise, lovely experience.
Got off a couple of minutes late due to construction and Tour De France preparations. Guide took us off the main pathways and showed us places that were often overlooked, but of interest. Stopped in a couple of shops and took a leisurely time . Eventually made way to a market area that was known by the locals, but easily missed because it was surrounded by retail stores. Stopped for a time and enjoyed a freshly made cheese platter with different cheeses, and then off again. Tour actually ran over scheduled time by about 30 minutes, but guide wanted to make sure we saw everything.
Wow! What a way to learn about the numerous districts in Paris, while walking amongst the various locations. Highly recommended, and special thnks to the very knowledgeable guide.
This was a wonderful tour. I had been the only person signed up, but the tour still continued. I had a lovely French woman who took me to many areas of Paris that I had never been to in my many visits. We stopped by for the famous macaron and sat in a cheese shop and had a cheese sampling as French came in to make their Sunday purchases. I returned to the many places to re-experience them on my own and it was just as wonderful.
A fabulous and intriguing discovery of a more intimate Paris indeed...
Arthur, our guide, started off a bit rough. To his credit, he listened to the group, made some adjustments, and everyone had a great time. We literally felt like Arthur was showing us his backyard.
Took the Paris Walking Tour with Alix as our guide, she was great, Saw many parts of Paris that where fantastic, you would never see these sights on your own. Took many tours in France this year and ,Spain,Italy, and France last year and this was one of the most enjoyable, not to mention one of the least expensive. You can"t miss with this tour. Jerry S.
Arthur, our tour guide, was flexible, funny and knowledgeable. This was the best way to kick off our first day in Paris.
We did this tour with Arthur as our guide. Unknown to us and the American family also with us on the tour, it was a public holiday in Paris and the macaroon shop and the market were both closed. However, Arthur was not to be put off by this little inconvenience and re arranged things so that we dido,t miss out on a thing. He was certainly knowledgable about his city, and we discovered so much in our three and a half hours. Arthur went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable , stopping for rests every now and then, and we enjoyed his tour immensely. We highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about the real Paris.
Maria was an excellent tour leader giving us a clear outline of paris through the side streets. Lovely girl with lots of personality who gave us excellent advice on places to visit
I thought this was just great, the guide was excellent, and we saw and heard about places most would not have discovered without a 'leader'. Our guide gave time and had an excellent rapport with the wide age range of our group. To be recommended.
The walking tour started off with areas that one would not consider "secret" or "hidden", but our tour guide soon has us exploring some really obscure places that are not in the tour books. Arthur was a knowledgeable guide who took time to talk to everyone in the group individually. He made us feel as though we were a team. We highly recommend this tour - especially if it is your first day in Paris.
We met our tour guide, Bart, at the place de la Concorde. He was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. This tour was marvelous and memorable. We strolled down narrow streets, walked through charming Passages, visited churches and theaters and points of interest we may have missed or spent precious time trying to locate on our own ... enjoying Bart's comments along the way. We stopped at one place and enjoyed a delicious macaroon. Later, we stopped and enjoyed a delicious assortment of cheeses with that marvelous French bread!!! Our tour ended at the Pompidou. Bart was very helpful in pointing out metros and directions. My friend and I were so glad we chose this tour. VIATOR is very helpful in scheduling their tours
