Sooooo good... the consistency of the custard was so velvety... and the carmelised sugar coating (which we got to do ourselves with a hand-held cooking blowtorch)... oh my goodness... :-)

These were perfection. Delicately crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and with a tiny taste of honey. I look forward to baking a batch of Madeleines and creating my own memories.

The frozen Grand Marnier mousse was a tangy, light and fluffy ice-cream. The chocolate soufflé was total indulgence (although if I was serving it as dessert, the previous courses would have to be very light).
