What You Can Expect

Private Tour: 2CV Paris City Highlights Tour

Admire the beautiful architecture of Les Invalides as you drive by on your private 2CV tour

Begin your unique tour of Paris highlights by meeting your guide either at your city center hotel or near the Opera Garnier and climbing into the passenger seat of the awaiting 2CV.

These iconic automobiles were introduced in France in the mid-1940s, originally as work vehicles for farmers, and over the decades the vintage models have become fondly entrenched in French hearts. As a result, you may be as much of a photo-worthy spectacle in your guide's car as the sights of the city are to you.

Travel past all of the main attractions in Paris, including the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral and the city's most famous monument, the Eiffel Tower. Learn how a structure that was first reviled by Parisians has become the symbol of the city.

See the enormous Louvre Museum and the Musée d'Orsay, once a train station and now home to a huge Impressionist art collection, as you hear about Paris' artistic heritage. Drive down the famous Champs Elysées, past the Place de la Concorde, Les Invalides and the Trocadero. And if there's a particular attraction in central Paris that you want to see, simply tell you guide.

Your tour concludes after roughly 1.5 hours, when your guide will drop you off either back at your Paris hotel or at the pick-up point near Opera Garnier.

Please note: The Citroen 2CV is much smaller than modern automobiles, so for the comfort of everyone these tours are limited to three people per car (not including the driver). If your group is larger than three, that's no problem – as many as nine people can book this private tour, with each trio getting their own car and driver while traveling together in a convoy.

This is probably the best thing we did in Paris. Driving up those very very skinny alley ways to see the old architecture. Our tour guide was amazing a local French man with loads of knowledge. Would highly recommend

What a great way to see Paris! I could not speak any higher about the driver who was more than happy to answer our questions and offer so much more information. My only regret - I didn't get a picture of the car 29.

This is the second time we have went on this tour---it is a fun, personalized tour of Paris. For Car lovers, it's a chance to experience Paris the way the French have for decades, in an original 2CV, one of the classic peoples cars of the last century. The best tour of Paris, hands down. Great guides, and picture opportunities as well.

This tour was definitely the highlight of our stay in Paris and one of the best tours we booked on our recent vacation. Our driver/guide Theresa was fantastic!!! She arrived on time and her knowledge of the sites she drove us by was quite extensive. She was also quite funny and we laughed a lot along the way. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a very personal tour of Paris in a really cool little car!

The highlight of our honeymoon!! We booked this for the night of our arrival to get an overview of the sights. Our driver was very friendly and because we chose the 10 pm tour there was minimal traffic. It was stunning. A picture perfect night that I will remember always.
