Carriage Ride in Paris.

Grand Palais in background. This is a large street. The ride also travelled down many small, quiet streets. As you ride, everyone turns to look at the carriage, and almost everyone smiles. Their faces say: "How lovely!" You can tell that everyone is thinking: "How fun! This is what Paris should be like! I want to do that!"

The carriage stops once for pictures in front of the Grand Palais. Otherwise, you stay on the carriage. This is a ride, not a tour--you do not go inside any buildings, etc.

If you're thinking "Is this worth it?" The answer is "DEFINITELY YES!" This is a romantic thing you can do in Paris during the day (if you are not a night person) and/or with kids (if the kids have a bedtime that precludes a night cruise on the Seine or a night show at the Moulin Rouge, for example).

The carriage ride crosses the Seine twice, once across and then back.
