Brilliant trip down the canals and the Seine.

Excellent, really enjoyed the cruise. No problem with the voucher system. Cruise host was warm and welcoming, and his tour talk was interesting and well presented. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Cheapest coffee in Paris too! Only one thing would have made our trip easier: knowing which direction to head from the Metro station. We got a little lost.

This was one of the best tours we did in Paris. The scenery was spectacular, the commentary was excellent and the peaceful nature of the boat slowly travelling down the canals to the Seine was fantastic. A must do tour.

After three visits to Paris I finally did the Canal trip and it was just wonderful. Very interesting, relaxed and enjoyable - revealing another, completely different aspect of the life of this marvelous city. The canal boat was comfortable with toilet facilities and a basic refreshment service and provided an English-speaking guide. The trip is an exciting experience for people of all ages and is most highly recommended!

Instructions on how to find the dock , what bus or train to take and where to go was very hard. No one to give instructions and when we arrived it was raining, cold and no shelter and poor signage as to the docking. A great trip but badly outlined. The people at the tour company had no idea of what this tour was when we asked for directions, one hand does not co-ordinate with the other. It is very confusing since I booked through this web and find the tours are not connected and it is hard to get advise.

The river cruise is run by the two operators to give an absolutely charming and different experience from the regular boat cruises on the Seine. A great thing to do on lazy Mondays when most museums are closed. But this tour is hardly fast, so it is not for those rushing for time to explore Paris!

We had the best time on the River Canal Cruise. The cruise director was fun and friendly and definitely made our trip.

My only complaint was that the company asked for formal wear, yet on the dinner cruise seventy people wore no ties, fifty wore no jackets and several wore jeans. The company should change their rule if they themselves ignore it!

I wouldn't do this if it is your first trip to Paris. It's a little slow and you see only a few of the well-known areas of Paris. However, I have been to Paris a number of times and so it was interesting to see a part of Paris that I have never seen before.

Through no fault of the tour operator, we were unable to enjoy the last part of the cruise on to the Seine - there was a problem with the last lock. Since we had to get back to the Gare du Nord, we had to leave the boat there and walk to the metro. This somewhat took the pleasure out of what had been, till then, a most enjoyable canal trip with a most entertaining guide.

We are frequent Paris visitors and were looking for a different perspective. The trip on the canal was beautiful and well-organized, We were not always able to understand the guide, but that didn't really matter. Finding the correct Metro at the beginning and end was no problem. Definitely worth the money and time!
