Our driver was polite and informative. The restaurant was wonderful with a beautiful view of the eiffel tower especially from the balcony. It was expensive but a very special treat.
This was a very well orchestrated pick up from the hotel, transfer to the Seine cruise ship, pick up and transfer to the restaurant, and then pick up and return to our hotel. The driver was very professional, considerate of my mobility limitations, informative and friendly. The food at the Les Ombres was superior and the view of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular. Especially when it began the nightly lights sparkling demonstration. The cruise was also superior and very informative. We would recommend this package to everyone.
Best food ever
Best restaurant ever
Best driver ever
A truly dream tour.
Excellent! bought it for my wife as a birthday treat and she loved every minute of it. Our driver was very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was spectacular and finished the evening off perfectly.
Wow! This was our first night in Paris and what a way to begin our adventures. We were picked up from our hotel on time and dropped off at the waterside for the river cruise with plenty of time to take a few photos before boarding. The boat was very comfortable with audio in various languages regarding the highlights along the river. Once the cruise was over we were picked up an taken to the restaurant for dinner. We had an amazing view of the tower in all her glory as we had dinner. The service and food was second to none. Our driver collected us after dinner and coffee was over. A fabulous night and we were not disappointed. One of the best nights in Paris.
The description of this tour was exactly what we experienced. Sebastian our driver was very friendly and picked us up and dropped us home just as stated . The cruise was pretty good , although very packed , but that was ok , we were there for the sights and they were unreal. The dinner at Les Ombres was a perfect end to the night , the food was first class as well as the champagne ! I would definitely recommend this tour .
Fantastic, I arranged this for my husbands 50th birthday and it was really special from start to finish! Sebastian the driver was lovely,we had such fun with him! He collected us from the hotel and took us to river cruise,he then collected us again and took us to les ombres restaurant, the food was lovely, service great and views of the Eiffel Tower were perfect, when the lights came on everyone cheered in the restaurant it was a breathtaking experience. We had champagne looking at the Eiffel Tower what a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, thank you to all involved.
THIS WAS FANTASTIC...THE DINNER WAS EXCELLENT AND THE LOCATION WAS JUST PERFECT FOR VIEWING THE "LIGHT SHOW" FROM THE EIFFEL TOWER.
A great combination. It all happened very smoothly. The cost was probably too high for what was supplied. An ordinary and packed boat trip and a fixed menu (albeit VERY good) at Les Ombres. A quick look at the a la carte menu and wine list would indicate I could have organised both main activities myself for about 2/3 the price. Ah, but what the heck, it was all lovely and well-executed and it was worth having my partner enjoying and remembering a lovely evening in Paris.
The cruise itself was rather different to what i was expecting! I was expecting a more personal and less crowded tour group which has live commentary. If you want to have the best views on this tour you need to sit up on the deck where their is no commentary! Commentary is only available below deck which wasn't great, The dinner itself however was amazing which amazing ambience and views. Overall I felt that the quality of the tour didn't complement the quality of the dinner essp that we was dressed up for dinner and everyone on the tour was very casual.
River cruise and Dinner were good. Our transport however didn't come back to pick us up after the dinner, because the dinner was late so we were late for the pick up. We ended up have to take a taxi back to the hotel.
Dinner and view fantastic. River cruise not worth the trouble of getting there. Crowded and no opportunity for a drink. For a fine dining experience expect something better. Transfers were a disaster with Paris traffic. Prefer a personal guide and use the metro.
The river boat cruise was okay. I'm glad it wasn't as crowded on the boat as I had read on earlier reviews. Les Ombres is a chic, very nicely located restaurant. To see the Eiffel Tower sparkling through the restaurant ceiling was such a thrill. The food was quite good and they put a whole bottle of wine on our table just for the two of us!
I decided to surprise my Husband by booking this deal. I loved every bit of my experience at Les Ombres Restaurant. It please me and my hubby too! The cruise was ok, I would say, I didn't enjoy the commentary running in between in several languages by the lady on the boat. Apart from that it was quite pleasant. We shared the mini Van with another couple, who were from Brazil. At the restaurant we were given good tables. The view of the Eiffel Tower is indeed beautiful. We loved it. The food was okayy... Me and my husband are both vegetarians so, we did have lesser options but, we were catered to brilliantly. The wine was great, the ambiance was beautiful. If you're looking for something romantic in Paris, and wouldn't mind splurging a little, try this! We were extremely please with our Chauffeur for the evening, Mathew. He was very warm, courteous and a delight throughout.
Beautiful view of the tower especially when it sparkles, food was very nice, service as well. Pick up and drop off from the hotel was without a fault.
Dinner at Les Ombres was good (service as well), and also our drivers were both very friendly. However the cruise, it was not as enjoyable as the boateas packed with rather noisy high school kids. Nice views, but lacked ambiance, the cruise. Since it was hightide, we did not get to see notre dame.
It was a package, so taking that into account.
The boat was large and the evening we went was cold, so would rather a smaller craft with fewer people and the ability to get room inside if required, so bad choice by us, the trip was fine, although only commentary inside.
The restaurant has a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower, again package, was a fixed menu pretty average, service slow. So as a package ok, but would not rush to repeat.
The best part of the whole experience was the driver, who picked us up and dropped off, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful
Nice river cruise- definitely worth going for it even if you have been on a lot of river cruise before. . The view from the restaurant is fantastic and service is great. But, the quality of the food is a bit of a letdown especially for French standard.
This was a horrible experience and one we would warn travelers against.
The driver was nice, polite and friendly. The Seine river cruise was great. Les Ombres was a terrible experience. We had requested a vegetarian meal through Viator and the waiter acknowledged that he was aware of the request. However, the problem was that they did not have anything even close to being vegetarian on the menu. After asking for options, I was told I could have steamed vegetables. We asked to speak to the Chef, who refused to come to our table. The waiter told me that I could have buttered noodles instead. While the restaurant was in front of the Eifel table, the view was not even that great because our table was in the middle of the restaurant. Considering the money that we pre-paid, this was complete rip off. We left frustrated from the restaurant and got a cab out of there. This is supposed to be a high end restaurant??????
I booked this Seine River boat cruise and dinner at Les Ombres for our first night in Paris. We were picked up late and arrived at the boat as it was boarding and we were at the back of the line. The boat was very crowded and the audio tour was poor. Getting off the boat was an awful crush of people. The dinner at Les Ombres was very nice and we had a seat right by the glass wall with a magniificent view of the lighted Eiffel Tower. The food was good and we had great service. However, when we left the restaurant at nealy midnight our driver was nowhere to be found. I called the tour company, no one answered. We had to walk in the dark about 5 blocks in a bad neighborhood to find a taxi.
