Great tour of a this beautiful region of France. The wine was not my favorite of France but the lunch provided was absolutely delicious! Our tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the bus was comfortable. The castles we visited were gorgeous but I had hoped we would see more castles from the bus. Only a couple were visible even though there are several dozen in the region. We were able to spend ample time at each stop to enjoy the estates.

Another wonderful trip. The guide, Adam, was excellent. He really filled in the blanks and pointed out lots of interesting places and times to us as we journeyed to the three Chateaus. The winery Nitray, was great. The meal was good and the wine also. Loved the winemaker. Totally worth the price!
It was a great day! Beautiful Chateaux --- with great wine!
I wasn't sure the cost was worth it, but I was really suprised afterwards! This was a great tour and the guides were exceptional!
Felt like I stepped into a Disney movie at these sites...incredible. Would have liked more time at Chenonceau.
Daniel and Violetta were experienced and knowledgeable tour guides. My husband, daughter and I enjoyed the day and call it one of our best days in France!
Excellent! Loire Valley is beautiful and good way to see French countryside.
Excellent tour. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and personable.
The tour was very good. Daniel and Tina were very interesting and very knowledgeable. The driver was very proficient.
I was SO looking forward to this part of my trip to Paris, and it did NOT disappoint! The day began at our meeting point entrance to the Catacombs near the Place Denfert-Rochereau. Our guides, Violet and Lillia, were absolutely WONDERFUL.....very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very engaging. The ride was long but I was enthralled by the history lessons and stories from our guides, as well as taking in the views of the countryside. Each castle was stunning in its own way, the stories different from the other, and luckily, the weather behaved so that we could meander through the grounds.
Chateau de Nitray was our stop for lunch and wine tasting. It was much smaller....quaint and homey...and I loved it. Lunch was taken in a huge room next to the gift shop at family-style tables. This gave us a chance to chat with and get to know others on the tour. The lunch was fantastic, hearty...wines, delicious...and there was dessert and coffee at the end, along with time to walk around the grounds.
I could go on and on about Chateaux de Chambord and Chenonceau but that would take up WAY too much space. I'll just say that they appeared to have jumped off the pages of a book....they were beyond beautiful and beyond my expectations. If you get a chance to take this tour while visiting Paris, I would jump at it. Just do it! You will not regret it.
We loved our tour guide, Adam! He was a great treat to this amazing tour -- Very knowledgeable about French history, food and wine! Team Champagne all the way! ...
The ride to and from Loire Valley is a bit long and exhausting but you get to see amazing castles and know more of France's nobility and history. The cheateaus we visited were amazing -- each one got better and better and tastings were great!
An amazing step back in time and fantastic and knowledgeable guides! The wine was delicious and the lunch was outstanding. Highly recommend this tour!!
Loved this tour. Interesting and fun. Love the French countryside. Our Tour Guides were great.
Outstanding! Very non stressful trip. Everything was as scheduled! Great tour guide, Adam and Lillia!
Lovely tour, and our guide Violette was amazing. She kept everyone so engaged and enthralled. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather. Both castles are spectacular, but the lunch stop at Chateau de Nitray really made this trip. To see a working castle with a winery, and enjoy their lunch was lovely. And Hubert, the patron of this chateau was a hoot. After walking all over Paris for a few days, this break was perfect, and the Loire Valley hold such amazing history.
We chose this wine tasting and lunch tour over just visiting the 3 chateaus, and I am glad we did. The lunch and wine tasting was the best part and the most fun for us! The food was homemade just for our bus group and was fantastic and plentiful, and the wine tasting was also very fun. The host of the Chateau was very cute and funny and made it a total pleasure. I would take this one again just for that part alone!
We really enjoyed this trip. The Chateaux's were wonderful, and the lunch and wine tasting delicious. It is a long bus ride, and a little tiresome in that way. Our guides, Daniel and Tina were wonderful. They had great stories to tell, easy to hear and understand, and kept a nice pace to the trip. I would recommend this trip to everyone who would like to see more of France, and get out of the city!
Entertaining, good food, a perfect break from the long lines and endless crowds of Paris. A nice break for a day.
We had excellent guides Violet who spoke English very well, partnered with another guide name ? as we were split into two groups. Chateaux de Chambord was an excellent castle to tour with all the history we learned from our guides starting on the bus ride out, and continued along the way. Next, Chateau de Nitray welcomed us with a hearty lunch and a nice assortment of wines. Chateau de Chenonceau was beautiful and we had a nice wine tasting in their cellar much to our liking. The tour was very worth it! How many times are you in Paris and get to tour castles? Go! It's awesome!
This was a long day but was worth it. Violet was our tour guide. She loves her city. She is so knowledgable and enthusiastic about her job and the history of France - it was just unbelievable. The castles were beautiful, I loved Uber and his sense of humor. Questions?? no questions and follow me. It was a fun filled day, the meal was great. We just love Violet. Rita and Karen
The Castles are beautiful! Valerie and Tina were knowledgeavle and excellent guides whi love their work and they made this trip fun and informative! We had a wonderful lunch and enough time to wander around in each of the castles. The wine tasting was fun as well.
