A great day. Visit to the winery was the highlight. Guides were very informative and knowlegable. Thank you for the experience
very long day, made longer by someone going awol! guides very patient. châteaux impressive but best part of day for me was the winery and lunch. got the bottle of red home safely! guides very knowledgeable also including a suggestion for my next days outing, food and shopping.
This was the best day of my 10 days in Europe. It was such a delightful surprise of a day! Our guide, Benoit, was charming and full of interesting and funny information. The castles were amazing and a nice contrast to one another. My very favorite part of the day was spent at Nitray Vineyards - the owner, Hubert, was so funny and taught us how to taste wine. The lunch and wine were delicious! Overall, I highly recommend this day trip.
Fantastic tour! Adam was an incredibly knowledgable and fun guide. We learned so much about the French history you don't get to learn in school. The Chateauxs were beautiful; Nitray owner was very hospitable (and funny) and our lunch was tasty- tomatoes were to die for! Thanks Adam and Viator
Our guide, Adam, was incredible!! The trip itself was amazing, but he brought it more to life with his interesting stories about everything from tiny details to the big picture. Loved, loved, loved Chambord as I'm a Beauty and the Beast megafan and that staircase just baffled me. Chenonceau was beautiful and made more so by all the history, which came to life through Adam. The Wine Tasting was tres magnifique!! We loved the owner, the wine, his wife's meal, and his niece's tour. It was so quaint and relaxing to sit and talk with our fellow tour group members. Perhaps our best tour of our 3 weeks of adventures in Europe!
Loved the tour. Randa our tour guide was wonderful and very informative. The wine lunch was a wonderful experience. All in all a great day!!
It was an enjoyable day out to the stunning countryside of France which you may not otherwise see unless you do the tour
Great trip. Well balanced places to stop at when doing the Loire in just a day.
Very nice tour. There were about 20 people in our group. Bus was modern, comfortable. Tour guide Lindsey was knowledgeable, personable, and down-right adorable. I would recommend this tour.
My husband and I booked this tour during our 2 week trip to Paris to get a view of the Loire valley. Our tour guide was great. She had lots of interesting info and facts about the area and the Royalty who lived in the chateaus. The 2 chateaus were beautiful. The lunch was delicious. We would love to go back and spend more time there now that we had a taste of the beautiful Loire Valley.
I was extremely content with this trip. The team from Viator was excellent. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, sweet and pleasant. This trip was a dream come true. I can not express with words how happy I am that I decided to book this trip during my visit to France. A million thank yous viator
This was my favorite tour of our entire 10 days of tours in London and Paris. The guide, Lindsey was a delight, very knowledgeable and had some very interesting stories and facts to share with us. As with many Viator tours I have been on in other countries, she is an American student studying in Paris, and in my opinion - they make the best tour guides. This was a lovely day and welcomed reprieve of getting out of Paris to travel to the French countryside. These chateau's are beautiful, especially Chenonceau. The Wine-tasting and lunch at Nitray was wonderful. The chateau owner at Nitray was a delight, the wine and lunch were both delicious. We even bought bottles of wine to take with us.
I would very much recommend this trip. The Chateaux are very interesting, their history is very entertaining and diverse. They are also beautiful, so bring your camera and a lot of memory cards! Our guide was an American history student living in Paris, and she provided an interesting point of view on the history of the Chateaux and the French in general. The lunch was also a highlight, with a very funny host, good food and good wine. It was definitely worth the travel time and the money spent.
