Great overall tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped make the tour very enjoyable. Lunch and wine at Chateau de Nitray was also very good and the hosts were very friendly. It is a long day given the apprx 3 hr return bus ride but worth it in our opinion to see these castles.
trip lovely guide very nice...lunch delicious!! ride back a nightmare as the driver refused to turn on the a/c..we were all sweaty and very uncomfortable..said the gas was too expensive!!!!
This tour is a very big day out, but well worth the drive if you are only just visiting Paris. A lovely countryside and the Chateauxs are wonderful. 3 hour trip home gives you time to sleep before a big night out in Paris.. Thank you again, this is my second visit.

Excellent day with just 5 other guests and guide. Lovely lunch with wines at vineyard. As usual could have had more time at each Chateaux but was a long day anyway. Well worth the time and effort of the early start.
This was a wonderful trip. Our guide, Ahmed, was very knowledgeable and provided interesting information. The trip was well organized and very comfortable (although I recommend the bus driver make sure there is toilet paper on board). Highly recommend this tour for a chance to see the French countryside and castles!
Loved the day .. it was a perfect summers day in the Loire Valley. Our tour guide, Ruta, was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any of our questions. The lunch at Nitray was just superb and a real highlight of our day. Highly recommend. Sandra, Australia
This was fabulous!!! My tour guide Ahmed was wonderful, helpful and really went the extra mile to make all of us comfortable and to get the best out of the trip. The wine tasting at Nitray chateau was the best ever food and the best service. The whole family is wonderful and the wines are very affordable. The only suggestion is to bring plenty of cash, water, a snack, and sunblock. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. This is worth every cent especially with Ahmed as your guide!

I enjoyed this trip a lot. Tasted 3 (plus 1 during lunch) different wines at the Nitray vineyard. Lunch was a simple but delicious and filling meal of chicken, fresh potatoes, tomatoes, light salad, different cheeses, and a apple tart. The gift shop at Chambord was better than the one at Chenonceau in terms of size and overall variety. But Chenonceau was definitely more beautiful in appearance than Chambord. This was a delightful trip with a small group. Our guide was great. She gave us lots of interesting facts and histories about the castles. Had a great time!

Wonderful day trip with a lovely aussie girl as our guide. Our driver was also of a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the Loire valley. Lunch and accompanying wines at the private chateau were exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

Another fabulous Viator trip! The choice of locations was wonderful and the winery lunch was particularly fabulous and an experience that I will remember always. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and was very helpful at answering questions. I will book again on my next vacation!
Fantastic day trip! Only two of the big chateaux visited so not as rushed as some other options. Lunch and wine tasting at the privately owned Chateau Nitray was charming also. Knowledgeable guide who shared relevant info but was not overbearing. Thanks for a great day from two happy campers from Sydney!
