What You Can Expect

Skip the Line: Eiffel Tower Behind-the-Scenes Theatrical Tour

Enjoy a view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower's 2nd floor on your theatrical tour

Meet your guide and small group in front of the Eiffel Tower to begin your absorbing 1.5-hour morning or afternoon walking tour of one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks, originally built for the 1889 World’s Fair. Your actor guide will draw you into the romantic story of a young American woman named Lemony and a French aviator named Antonin who fall in love at the Eiffel Tower.

Learn about the history of Paris and the Eiffel Tower through the adventures of the characters your guide portrays as you view intriguing areas of the tower many visitors don’t even know about. Descend into the military bunker located beneath the Champ de Mars, the large open field adjacent to the tower. As you’ll learn, the tower once housed military communications equipment, and the bunker and its complex network of secret tunnels was created during World War I to serve as a vital evacuation route.

Continue your tour above ground at the Eiffel Tower’s engine room, viewing the impressive equipment that powers the tower’s hydraulic lifts. Next, skip the lines at those elevators and ascend to the 380-foot (116-meter) second floor of the tower with your guide. Head up to the rooftop of Michelin-starred Le Jules Verne restaurant and revel in the spectacular views of Paris as your guide concludes his story with heroine Lemony’s 100th birthday.

Your theatrical, behind-the-scenes tour of the Eiffel Tower ends on the second-floor observation deck, where you can linger as long as you wish or buy a ticket to the third level of the Eiffel Tower for even more dramatic panoramic views from 906 feet (276 meters) up.

Please note: Engineering work will be taking place on the roof of Le Jules Verne from January 15-29, 2015. Access will not be possible during that time.

Oh my all I can say is what a great few hours. I would highly recommend this to anyone......it is not only very amusing and entertaining but also informative and fun

My daughter who has been to the Eiffel Tower several times was sceptical about this tour as she'd already seen it, however at the end of this she admitted this was fantastic....

This was fantastic. Henri was energetic, enthusiastic, funny, entertaining and helpful. On this tour we saw and learned interesting and entertaining history and facts that we couldn't have done without it. Just the right length. Still had to wait a little while to get in the lift to go up the Tower but that's to be expected.

I left it late to book the Eiffel tower Tickets,by Three Months! So I was looking for a skip the queue. I read some reviews and in the end opted for,Viatours. Due to leaving passports at home and having to go back home and get them it was always going to be a rush to get the pre booked 4pm tour. But while on the Eurostar I kept in contact with Caroline at their office who could of not been more helpful. In the end myself and my six year old son had to go straight to the Eiffle tower from the station, again while in contact with Caroline

In the end we got their about 2/3 min late, I phoned .Caroline and told here we had arrived, but no tour guide.Five min later he turned up,he explained he always leaves at 4pm on the dot, which is fair enough and I accept that.

The tour to be honest was just a way to get up the Eiffel tower, and the sooner it was over the better, well so I thought.

It was fantastic!! The tour guide, kept my young son entertained calling his name.Max. And to see the Underground bunker and learn about the history of it,then under the tower to see one and learn about the lifts.

I am so glad I went on this tour, and I would advice anybody if you are going to the Eiffel tower go on this tour. Its a lot more than skipping the queue.

Thank you all at Viatour, for a great time.If this was Ebay I would give it a. A
