Clever and informative. Our guide/actor was great fun and had a great singing voice. Fun tour as you get to see things like the bunker and inner works of the lifts for the Tower. Private view on top of Jules Verne Restauarant above the second level was great also. Great bargain. Take this tour!
This was well worth the price. Super insightful, full of info, skipping the line was nice, and you get an extra bonus once up on 2nd floor to go on top of the restaurant for views, a bit more calm and peaceful.
A brilliantly exciting way of finding out the Effel Tower and beating the queues. The actor was so entertaining and knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip very highly.
It was a great tour and our guide was fun, caring and dedicated.
We also loved the love story entwined with the history.
We have already told all our friends about it.
We did this tour on our very first evening in Paris! We also did the 3 day L'Open Air tour bus, which the Green line stops right at the Tower. We took the Batobus water taxi (included with your bus ticket) back to the Louvre area afterwards. A mini Seine river cruise at dusk! Beautiful.
WOW!!! This tour was a great start to our two week trip. Our guide was Nathaniel. What a sweetheart. He met us by Mr. Effiel's bust right on time and in costume and in the character of a 1940 pilot. It was a unique way to get all of the fun and interesting facts. He also had an amazing singing voice! Loved it! We especially loved the underground bunker and our tour through the workings of the elevator system.
The tower is mobbed, so skipping the lines with priority access was a huge bonus. Also, while there is visible police presence, pickpockets and gyspies asking you to sign their clipboard are EVERY WHERE and are aggressive. Beware!
At the end of the organized tour we were able so spend time just enjoying Paris from atop the Tower. We opted to not go the the 3rd level because the line was hours long. We also decided to take the stairs down. An easy walk .... down.
All in all, a fantastic tour. Highly recommend. On a side note ..... I was frustrated that more than a few people in our group did not tip Nathaniel at the end. The kid works for tips. Thought that was in poor form.
Ansolutely fantastic tour. The guide was really great and entertaining. Kids and adults all had a fun and interesting tour. Highly recommended.
Wonderful!! Most informative!! Fun! Entertaining!
Our tour guide was very knowledgable, and his presentation was excellent!!
I have been talking about the tour ever since and would highly recommend this tour!
THE TOUR GUIDE WAS MARVELLOUS. HE HAS GOOD KNOWLEDGE And gave impression that we are going on a trip not just a tour. thanks for him
This way you go to the front, the guy who conducted our tour was very interesting as a guide
Very worthwhile and enjoyable tour. Good value and with access to all you need to see. You can queue to buy tickets for the top from the second level if you wish. Highly recommend.
Would definitely recommend this 'behind the scenes' tour. Our guide Henri was a bundle of fun and played out the back story to this tour very well. Having a story to this tour made it more interesting than just having facts thrust at you throughout. We got to see the bunker just up the Champ de Mars and then an interesting look at how the elevators work. Then we jumped the queues to the elevators and then got a unique view over Paris from the roof of the Jules Verne restaurant before going onto the 2nd platform at the end of the tour. There is an option to go to the top of the tower for an additional fee, but we didn't take this up. If you are going to go to the Eiffel Tower, then spend those few extra euros and take this tour, be assured you won't regret it!!
A brilliant way to see the Eiffel Tower. The guide was very funny and informative, keeping us all interested and entertained. Beng able to see the radio bunker and workings of the lifts was very interesting, even the kids found that part enjoyable. Jumping the lift queues to the second floor as well gave us a smug feeling and well worth the fee.
Only downside, and despite the guide getting us into the queue for the top we were not able to get tickets as they had shut the booth when we got there. Not the guides fault though, just emphasises the popularity of the tower. Still had great views from the second floor though. Have recommended to friends visiting next year.
