Skipping the long line was the way to go! Tour guide Bob from Ireland was fantastic!
I HIGHLY recommend this trip. You do skip the lines....our tour guide was well prepared and engaging. We were able to skip the first line waiting to buy tickets and then again to get onto the 1st elevator. Although we did have to wait 15 minutes to get on the first and the 2nd elevators. While we were waiting, our tour guide shared interesting information about France, Paris and the Tower....this dialogue helped the waiting time pass quickly. Quite frankly, I was impressed with how long our guide talked he talked constantly note this is not a criticism, it is praise and how much he talked...he knew an awful lot about France, Paris, and the Tower. One nice thing about this tour is that everyone is outfitted with an audio system connected to the tour guide. This allows everyone to hear the guide speaking without straining or being near him. In fact during the tour, at times I would walk 15 feet away from the guide and could still hear him clearly. This feature allowed me to wander around the Tower decks, looking at my own selected views, while still benefitting from the guide's information. Also, our guide was from New Zealand, so there was no issue with understanding him i.e., accents although he was fluent in French obviously. Note that this tour meets at a location a few blocks away from the Tower. The benefit of this is that it allows you to gather easily with your group without being bombarded by the large crowds around, under or near the Tower. We walked as a group to the Tower all the while our tour guide provided interesting facts about the City, country, and Tower. Also, the tour guide office offers free WiFi, so you can download email or info if you want/need to. Overall I really do recommend this tour...you do skip the lines, the tour guides are informative and engaging...this is the best way to experience the Eiffel Tower!!
we got access to the top as well, Antoine was very helpful and funny. highly recommended.
Easy to find location and very knowledgeable tour guide can't remember her name but she is originally from New Jersey shore. The walk to the tower, and the information at the top made it well worth it. Kids loved it, we highly recommend if you want to get more information about what you are seeing from the top and want to avoid the loooong lines.
For the amount of money this tour cost, to skip the insane lines was well worth it. However, just bc you skip the lines doesn't mean you aren't faced with all those people in the Eiffel tower. It is crowded. People are rude and push you out of their way--but this has nothing to do with the tour company and guide. The guide we had, Oriany, was great! Very pleasant and knowledgeable. We had some issues getting up the and skipping the line because of mechanical issues with the Eiffel Tower elevators. Apparently, on very hot days, the hydraulic system doesn't work for one of the elevators which impacts the number of elevators working! Again, not the fault of the tour company.
Fantastic! Our tour guide 'Bob' was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only downside to the experience was that the elevators were shut down as we were preparing to descend from the second floor and we were forced to take the stairs the entire way down. Not good on a busted ankle. The tour company had said goodbye to us by that time and were not responsible for the inconvenience.
Great tour of the tower. Really like the headsets so that you can hear everything. Lines are crazy up to the top. Great fun.
Rob, our tour guide, was terrific. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower from the office too.
The Skip the Line Eiffel Tower tour was excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the tower and French history. She was warm and friendly. We went early in the morning and the wait in line was minimal--which is amazing for mid-July. For the price, it was well worth the experience. I would definitely recommend this tour any time! I think our young guide's name was Hanna--she was from London. She was fabulous!
This was by far the easiest access I have ever had to the Eiffel. In addition our guide Babette was a great host and shared a great deal of interesting facts that I would have otherwise not have known!
Tour Guide was great -- we learned a lot from him and he was also very entertaining. It was worth it!
Rebecca was a great guide. The receivers could be of a higher quality e.g. louder but it is a little technical problem. I was very satisfied with the tour and so were all people in my group.
Was nice to be on a small guided tour and not wait in lines. Little pricey but worth it. Very informative on the history and pointing out buildings from above.
The Tour guides name was Viktor, the guy was really nice and easily approachable. His knowledge and command on Paris is really appreciable. Viator will make the price that you pay for Viewing Eiffel Tower really count by 100.
Skipped a long line at the bottom to go up, but there's a line that can't be skipped going up to the third level. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very nice.
highly recommended the small group tour. The gentleman was very nice and enjoyed the tour and learned very well the history.
