Our guide was great. Will use this again when we return to Paris!

You have to do this. You get in through a "secret" tours-only entrance without waiting in line. The guide was well informed, and you get a good overview of the massive Louvre. We went in September and it was mobbed; people waited a good hour and a half outside before getting in. This saved time and made the Louvre bearable.

A great tour guide took us to all the major exhibits, and after the tour we had all the time we wanted to explore by ourselves.

You have to have a guide for the Louvre if you do want to do more things on your trip! You simply could spend a whole month in there to finish visiting it! Great tour guide spoke a lot of languages, so everyone could get it. I saw the most important things there, and the ticket gives you the option to remain in the museum for the rest of the day if you like!

Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and attentive, but directions to the tour operator's office were not clear, although they were for the Giverny tour. Maybe those instructions should be used.

Skipping the lines was fabulous! Finding the tour was very easy even though we stayed on the Left Bank--we had mastered the metro in just one day! The tour in the early AM was the best--it was already getting very crowded. Our guide did a very good job, and the microphones were the way. Much better experience than we had on the London Pass. Thank you!

Had a great time at the Louvre. Guide was very good and we saw a lot more in half the time it would have taken us if we had gone ourselves.

We enjoyed every second, very tiring but well worth doing.

Great tour, without a guide it could be very easy to get lost in the Louvre. I would have liked to see more statues instead of so many religious paintings.

Best of all possible ways to get into the museum, get an idea of what's where and then have the rest of the day to go see the things you want. You get in before the crowds, get info not available to others, and it's short and to the point, showing you the biggies - Mona Lisa, Venus DeMilo, and Winged Victory plus enough others that you know which areas to come back to when the tour ends.

This was a fantastic tour. Guide was great and very knowledgeable. Allow a full day for this tour as there is more explore. Only thing that could be added to the tour would be the Napoleon Apartments.
