Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Skip the Line: Louvre Museum Walking Tour including Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
The guide was very knowledgeable. She made the trip very personable and interesting!
This is a must see and the skip the line is the best. Our guide was very informative and added a lot of insight. I highly recommend the skip the line and can say we were very pleased with Viator and the tour company and guides
This was a great experience. We got so much more out of the museum having a guide well versed in the details of the prominent pieces...not just the pieces themselves but also how they came to be in the Louvre. Our guide, Caroline, was EXCELLENT.
Alejandra was the most amazing tour guide. Quite engaging and knowledgeable. Our visit was immensely enjoyable. Would highly recommend this method to visit the Louvre and this tour guide especially.
Wow this museum took our breath away. Napoleon's apartment is a must see, also the Mona Lisa in its beauty. The glass pyramids were spectacular.
Trip wAs GREAT and the tour guid was informative and loved her hod a lot. Very organized too.
I'm more into history than art and WOW how great this tour was for those enjoy are but love history. There were only 6 in our group and that really made the tour. Only way to see the Louvre as far as I'm concerned!
The Louvre is overwhelming in size!! This small group tour was perfect for 2-2 1/2 hours. We had a tour guide who was an art historian, and gave us fantastic insights into the Louvre and it's art. Definately a thumbs up for those on short visits or first visits to to the Louvre.
Excellent tour guide. Very very knowledgable and capable of navigating the crowds. Nice small group allowed us to see a lot in just a few hours. We appreciated the opportunity to stay in the museum after the tour and continue looking at art. Really enjoyed this tour.
Our tour guide, Damien, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour was a little lengthy for our two teenage children, but we all found it interesting and informative. This tour gave us a good overview of some of the main exhibits at the Louvre. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour.
This was wonderful. Our guide demonstrated love and knowledge about the Louvre. She truly loved her job and sharing information with us...even the insider stories. Thank you
Skipping the line was great the tour hit the highlights and helped us make the most of our short time in Paris. The museum is mobbed, I can't imagine how long the wait is to get in with out this tour also finding the Highlights would be very difficult with the crowds inside. As a bonus, our guide was terrific in enhancing our appreciation for what we saw.
This was our first visit to Paris and the Louvre was at the top of our list of sights. We had heard this tour was the best introduction to the museum and we were not disappointed. Our guide, Deborah, was wonderful. Her insights, humor and engaging personality brought the exhibitions to life for us.
Beautiful Caroline really looked after us and her knowledge was extensive so made for a wonderful tour. My two teenage boys loved it as it was the perfect length of time for them. As the Louvre was very crowded it was the best way to see it thoroughly. Many thanks Caroline
Our guide was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We were warned that many tour companies rush you through with three or four pat stories, but this was definitely not the case with this tour. We saw a lot and learned a lot! Thank you.
Ana was an excellent guide. Saw all I wanted to see in Lourve. She was an ideal guide and very well informed.
We were originally a bit put off by the cost but having experienced the joy of skipping the queues on other tours, we booked the 3 hour Louvre walking tour. We were luck enough to get our guide completely to ourselves, a family of four. But that was not what made it. Our guide, Davor, was AMAZING! Genuinely enthusiastic and clearly passionate about art and linking it to history. Not being experts in either, he also helped relate to the present day and sprinkled the commentary with fun un-known facts. Highly recommended and thank you Davor!!!
Anna was great! We had limited time to see the Louvre, and this worked out perfectly for us. There were 5 in our group. No voice boxes were needed. We were able to get a sense on the history of the site and got to the iconic art that is housed in the Louvre. It was obvious that if we had tried to do all of this w/o a guide, we would have had major frustration. This made it simple and made the most sense for the time we had. Would recommend to others and will book future tours for ourselves. Nice Job!
Great to have a personal and knowledgeable guide for our group of 4. The skip the line was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hours. Magnificent facility. Highly recommended
Great tour, very informative guide. Efficient and well organised - lived up to all our expectations.
Tour guide Francesca is a local art history teacher. She knows her Louvre art information backwards and forwards. Also knows her way around the Louvre so that we avoided the masses at all the popular sites as much as the masses can be avoided at the Louvre!. Highly recommend using her services when you visit the Louvre. Would seek her out to use her services again for another visit.
Only negative about the tour: Parisian pickpockets are SHAMELESS. While sitting in an area adjacent to the Mona Lisa room, I felt a tug at my back pocket which only contained a map and a tour book. Turned to find a female admonishing an 18 month old toddler about grabbing things. Both moved on, but not before I managed to get a picture of both of them. FOR MEN: EITHER LEAVE VALUABLES IN HOTEL SAFE OR KEEP THEM IN FRONT OF YOU UNDERNEATH YOUR CLOTHING. FOR WOMEN: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CLOSED PURSE IN FRONT OF YOU WITH ONE OF YOUR HANDS ON IT AT ALL TIMES.
