In 6 weeks of travelling through Europe, this was the best tour we did. Isabel was the best tour guide we had. She gave us a great overview of the Louvre, and we saw some fabulous art and sculpture. She gave me an insight into sculpture that I had never had before. The delivery and content of the information she delivered was absolutely spot on. I was quite surprised when the 3 hours was up - it had gone so fast.
Wonderful experience! Unfortunately our time was limited due to prior commitments with our tour group, but our guide gave us a private tour tailored to include the main features of the Louvre. My husband and I were very impressed with her knowledge and the respect shown to us and our daughter.
Having an English speaking guide with a high level of understanding of the buidling and its works made this tour a real pleasure. Our guide also took us on a tour of the archeological finds re the foundations of the building, an added extra that we were not expecting. Our guide spent 45 minutes more with us than was scheduled, such was his interest in ensuring that we got to see as much as possible in our time in Paris. Excellent tour.
Our tour guide, Isabelle, met us promptly at the appointed spot. Scooted to the front of the line at entrance. Small group of 6pp added to the intimacy and ability to ask questions readily. She was extremely knowledgeable about the historical facts about the museum and the paintings. The only way to see the Louvre if you are on a tight schedule. She brought the museum to life for us!
The "skip the line" feature of this tour is well worth it as the line was long to get into the Louvre. The Viator Rep met us on time and then introduced us to our guide, Raphaelle. The headsets for the people on the tour work very well as this allows you to hear the guide very well. You get much more than just looking at the exhibits with this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history behind the Louvre and the exhibits. She was also very patient with our group and answered all our questions. After the tour was over we had lunch in the Louvre at the Richelieu Café. A bit pricey but the food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this tour and congratulate Viator for batting 1000 on there tours. We have taken several of their tours and haven't been disappointed yet. Well done.
Terrific guide - Flo. Tremendously knowledged and kept the tour moving, interested and engaged. Go to the Louvre to see more than the Mona Lisa. Fewer crowds on the night tour. Mornings are hectic apparently. A MUST see in Paris. Will go again
Excellent tour guide; great explanations. Without his guidance for our relatively small group we would have been lost ... figuratively and literally, in the great expanses of this museum.
Fantastic. Our guide Harvey was excellent. And very funny. He certainly knows his history of art and made it so interesting.
Lindsey our guide was so awesome and helpful. Worth every penny!
Our 3 hour highlight tour was excellent. Our tour guide was well prepared and did an excellent job. I definitely would use Viator again and recommend to friends.
The guide was fantasic with plenty of information about Louvre with more and extra information. As this was our very first trip to Paris we would totally recomend Viator to our friends and also rebook once again soon hopefully. You made our holiday in Paris GREAT.. many thanks Viator Tours
