Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Skip the Line: Notre Dame Cathedral, Tower and Ile de la Cite Half-Day Walking Tour. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Our guide met us at the Cite train stop, and we walked over to the cathedral. We went right to the beginning of the line. She was very knowledgeable.
Elena, our tour guide, was incredible. She was personable and knowledgable. We really enjoyed our day with her.
Loved the sites visited and loved the stories and the way they were conveyed! I can't remember the name of our awesome guide, (though I know she's Croatian and living in Paris)
Excellent tour excellent guide very informative it's only 2 hours though not 1/2 day brochure is misleading
Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and had an engaging delivery. The audio boxes work very well, but if you can bring your own earbuds, do so, because the generic ones are not very comfortable. Keep your eye on the guide or the flag, as with the audio devices the sound of the guide's voice does not get fainter with distance, and you may look up to discover that everyone else is rather far away. The tour was interesting, a comfortable length and distance, and saved us an hour's waiting in the line to go up the Tower according to other visitors who had braved the line.
Our tour guide was fabulous! She was full of wonderful information. You could definitely tell that she loves history. Excellent tour!
Fantastic. Had a guide named Linda, who was fun, funny, snarky, breezy, knowledgeable. She knew her stuff and put on a show with subtle good humor, great timing. She pointed out all the highlights of the island, and threw in a few French lowlights, just to keep the party polite. She regaled our small group with facts, anecdotes, tidbits of history, general info about Paris, etc. Learned a lot about Notre Dame, Napoleon, Victor Hugo, the Church and much, much more. The journey to the top of the tower is like 400 steps, so it's not for everybody, but it's a great view when you get there. My favorite tour while in Paris for a week! Jim
This is great if you have the time because you get the history of the Ile de la Cite which includes the history of Paris. While we were in Notre Dame there was a choir rehearsing. Awesome. Then no line to go up in the tower. Our guide was good and really informative.
The guide had the history of the area in his head and managed to make us all understand how it related to what we were seeing..A genuinely worthwhile experience I'd recommend to anyone..
