Not being a big "joiner" I wasn't sure if we would enjoy the tour versus going to the Louvre on our own. As it turns out, we LOVED the tour guide--she was warm, funny and very entertaining overall. She shared information that we'd never heard before and made even small things interesting that we would have likely just walked right past. Had an awesome time and would absolutely do this type of tour again--especially with limited time.

This is a must!!! I loved every moment, and our guide was great - a lot of knowledge and answered as many questions as we had. Personally, I wouldn't mind if it had been longer.

We spent two and a half hours with the tour guide and stayed for the rest of the day. What a great way to spend the day!!

Our guide was excellent. The wireless headsets made it easy for all of us to hear what he was saying. Even our kids loved it!!

Brill! The place is massive and for a first visit this is a must. No queues and interesting details about the pieces that you just wouldn't know if you were on your own. Plus your free at the end to continue looking at your own pace. Only things is you have to take your Viator voucher to the travel agent before getting on the bus so they can change it for another ticket, so best to arrive a bit earlier on your first tour to get them all changed.

Very informative. After the tour ended we could stay in the Louvre for the rest of the day. Tour included headphones to hear the guide more clearly over the crowd.

Great way to get orientated with the Louvre and then you can go back as many times during the same day.

That place is huge! You will never find your way around in a reasonable time with a guide.

You have to do this. You get in through a "secret" tours-only entrance without waiting in line. The guide was well informed, and you get a good overview of the massive Louvre. We went in September and it was mobbed; people waited a good hour and a half outside before getting in. This saved time and made the Louvre bearable.

A great tour guide took us to all the major exhibits, and after the tour we had all the time we wanted to explore by ourselves.

You have to have a guide for the Louvre if you do want to do more things on your trip! You simply could spend a whole month in there to finish visiting it! Great tour guide spoke a lot of languages, so everyone could get it. I saw the most important things there, and the ticket gives you the option to remain in the museum for the rest of the day if you like!
