This tour was great very well organised, Melissa the tour guide was very informative and went out her way to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves as much as could be done in the terrible weather, lovely morning/day out :-)
We loved our guide and the tour of the gardens. The gardens are massive and we would never had seen so much without the guide. She explained the meaning of the fountains and the history of the kings that lived in Versailles. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Our tour guide was very entertaining, helpful, knowledgeable. He truly made this tour a wonderful experience.
Our tour guide, Paul, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable walking through the gardens. Versailles is gorgeous and the audio guide was easy to use and informative. My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this tour!!
The Skip the Line Tickets are a must if you plan on visiting Versailles! Our guide Danni was perky and full of useful suggestions. The walk through the gardens was a bit long...maybe head down to the boats on the canals instead of in and out the maze of bushes. The audio guide was a nice idea but with the crush of people we had to maneuver through, lost its purpose. Awesome paintings adorned every space available at Versailles. The real lesson learned was It is good to be King!
Great meeting place, across the street from train to Versailles, nice breakfast in the café, lovely waitress even though we can't speak French and her English was as goo as our French, she understood what we were having for breakfast and she smiled a lot.
Versailles is beyond description, so I will not even attempt it. JUST GO!!
And Sam the tour guide was the best guide ever
Our tour guide is very knowledgeable. Very beautiful place to relax.
Our tour guide Sam was excellent!!! highly recommend him and this tour. My husband and I have been here before, but my brother in law and daughter have not and they really enjoyed it.
The tour was very organized. The guide was very knowledgeable. The skip the line really save us a lot of time
Our trip to Versailles was wonderful. Your directions was magnificent!
It was really good and the tour guide Bob was great. He's friendly, approachable and informative. Would surely recommend it to others.
This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Ben, was polite, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Our group size was 20, rather than the 12 we were led to believe, but this did not deter from this experience at all. Ben made us all feel a valued part of the group, including us all and managing to remember our names and where we were from! We received clear instructions on how to find our rendezvous point, and from there on everything went swimmingly. We were guided onto the train and to Versailles itself without any worries about getting lost. Ben gave us a thorough grounding in French history as we walked around the gardens looking a the key areas and we were given time to take all the pictures we wanted. The 'skip the line' ticket is a godsend.....the queues to get in were enormous, even before opening time! We had a short wait past our allotted entrance time, but Ben managed to get us admitted and set up with our audio guides and return train tickets with minimal stress to ourselves. We were given a map to assist our return to the train station, but it was so easy and only about a 5 minute walk, that we didn't use it. We were then able to enjoy a trip around the Palace at our leisure. This is a great way to get a full day at Versailles with a skip the line ticket and guide. We stayed all day, managing to pull in a leisurely lunch at Angelina's restaurant, visit to the Petit Trianon and the Queen's Hamlet with a ride on the Petit Train!
This tour was awesome! We met our tour guide very near the train station and after a 25 minute train ride, arrived a few blocks from Versaille. Our tour guide, Victor, was incredible. He took us straight to the gardens, no waiting. We skipped a line in 90 degree heat that would have taken us two hours at least. Our group was small and we learned so many interesting details. Victor took us inside, gave us our headphones and let us finish the tour on our own at our own pace. We were able to stop and rest and grab a bite inside the palace. We then took the same train back. It was well worth the money!
This tour was well worth the money. Our guide was extremly knowlegeable and gave us lot of good background information while waiting for the train to take us to Vesailles. She continued to be a fountain of knowledge and information and presented it well as we toured the gardens. We then had as much time as we wanted to spend at Versailles and really dnjoyed it. Great tour with one of the best guides we could ask for.
Our tour guide Sam was amazing. He navigated the train and lines at Versailles without any problems and had us in and on our visit with a minimum of fuss. He was knowledgeable, friendly and allowed us plenty of time to explore. Highly recommend this tour.
United States of ...
Versailles was absolutely fabulous! the bus ride was very comfortable and well air conditioned. The tour guide, Antoine Weber from Fat Bike Tours, was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable and was able to give great backstory on the palace. He made all the passengers feel welcome and made us laugh with his jokes. The hall of mirrors was beautiful and the gardens magnificent. This was the best part of our vacation in Paris!
Melissa was our tour guide and she was very sweet and knowledgable. We had 3 children and two Seniors with us and she was patient and really engrossed everyone in the history of the Palace. We got on the train quickly and in the gardens quickly. The walk wasn't bad at all. It was the end of July in the throes of a tourist invasion and we were in the Palace within 5 minutes cutting an extremely long 2-3 hour line. I recommend this tour completely!!!!
This was a great way to see the Versailles Palace. It was easy to meet at the cafe, and get your train ticket. Stephanie our guide was funny and informative taking us through the gardens, which were beautiful. We were there on a Sunday so got to see the dancing fountains. We really loved learning about the history and the Palace was beautiful.
Versailles is everything and more than we could have ever imagined. The gardens are magnificent which we were able to explore before entering the Palace. Our guide, Bob, was extremely informative and he made the history of France come alive. We would definitely recommend this trip especially being able to skip the line to not only get in but buying your ticket to get in. The line was incredibly long and it was only 10 o'clock in the morning and very hot.
SAM was our tour guide. He was amazing. He was a great storyteller and knew a lot about the history of the Palace and its previous occupants. He kept everyone in the group involved. He is very personable and engaging. He made our visit to the Palace much more educational and enjoyable than it would have been on our own.
Hannah was our tour guide. She was actually from London and had been in Paris for nearly a year. Very knowledgeable and took us through the gate and had a lovely tour of the Gardens with her. Then she tookus to the group gate for fast admission and made sure we were set with our audioguides. Definitely would recommend this excursion to Versailles.
