Our guide Steph was fantastic, very knowledgeable and great fun. We saw and did so much but with such expert guidance it was still very relaxing.
Our tourguide, Ellen was personable, knowledgeable and fun. The tour was more than we expected. I would not hesitate to use Viator again for any of our vacation trips. I'm only sorry I didn't know about Viator sooner.
We absolutely loved this trip. Our guide was Helen. She was so knowledgable and just plain fun! We did a lot of walking and the picnic was delightful. I highly recommend this tour .
A fabulous full on day. The guide was very knowledgeable, and was at the appointed meeting place at the station. The village of Versailles and markets were charming and the picnic lunch was delicious with plenty of food. We bought some cheese and wine from the markets just to add a little more French flavour! The Versailles palace was fantastic and the garden tour was very informative due to our great guide. However the crowds were overwhelming, almost claustrophobic .
This tour is AMAZING! You board the train with your guide and head to Versailles - walk through the town and get to purchase wine, cheese, macaroons and other goodies you may want. There is a crepe stand in the town square and the crepes "will change your life"! When you first enter Versailles and see the gardens, it's breathtaking. Our tour guide was so lovely and told us such great stories about the different Louies and Marie Antionette. She was SO knowledgeable about the subject matter that we were NEVER bored. It's a very long walking tour so if you have problems with that, this is not the tour for you. Lunch on the Grand Canal was fun and we met lots of new people in our tour group. Having lunch and wine at Versailles was definitely a great way to spend the day.
We are not people who normally go on guided tours but we thought it wouldbe the best way to tackle something of the scale of Versailles. From our first meeting with Melanie we felt welcomed and at ease. She was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge and an excellent sense of humour. She was happy to answer any questions we had.
The grounds are magnificent and we liked the idea of the audio guide tour of the chateau as opposed to the rugby scrums led by a guide waving an umbrella or the like above their heads.
We would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome day with our guide Jess. She was very knowledgeable with a great way of making history come alive. The tour was very well organized. From start to finish we had an amazing day (despite the dreary weather!) Thank you so much for a memorable experience Jess! Cindy and Sheila Nova Scotia, Canada
Wonderful Tour through Easy Pass! Amanda was awesome! The gardens and beautiful and she is very knowledgble about all the ins and outs. Its like a maze and a tour is the only way to know about it all! Put on your walking shoes for sure! Lunch at the lake was great! So relaxing! The Palace is actually a self guided tour but wonderful! You think an hour and half is not enough time to tour the palace but by gosh it sure is, more than enough. The Palace is over the top! Very good directions and glad we missed the lines for entry, that is one of the best parts!
Excellent tour despite rainy weather. Tour guide ( Richard was easy to listen to and very interesting)
Would totally recommend this particular tour of Versailles.

Tour guide Jess was full of information about the history of Versailles and the local markets that we visited. A lovely personality would recommend a tour will her. The palace was very crowded on the Sunday afternoon and we lost the effect of the interior because there were too many groups inside the palace. I'm sure another day or date out of season would be preferable .
Melanie was my guide and she was super friendly and knowledgable about the palace. This was a great day trip out of paris. Melanie also helped us on our return get off at the right metro stops or showed us which stop to change lines at.
Jess, our guide, could not have been more helpful. Allowing us time to shop in the marketplace for fruits and cheeses and our great bottle of wine. She took us all over the grounds with a story for every step. Our picnic by the lake was so much fun. She made sure we made it back to Paris safely and knew where we needed to go. She is a gem.
Our guide Steph was awesome, it was wet and miserable, but she made the tour fun and interesting, very knowledgable person, we don't think it would have been as enjoyable without Steph. She saved the day by giving us her umbrella, Thank you Steph for a fun and enjoyable day from the girls Phillip Island Australia.
This was an absolutely fabulous tour. Connor, our guide for the day was brilliant. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help and assist. All his instructions were clear and he made sure everyone knew what was happening. (meeting times and places etc.)
The gardens were fantastic, even though we were unable to see the fountain show. The Palace was very busy but Connor had told us the 'must see' rooms and this was very helpful.
Our picnic beside the Grand Canal was, again, fabulous.
We had a fantastic day and would recommend this to anyone.
Thank you Viator and Connor.
We are thinking of taking a tour of Italy next year and will definitely look at any tours you have.
Again, Thank You.
