This tour was Great! Our guide was fantastic. He even helped us figure out where to disembark from the train to catch our river cruise without having to call a taxi! We had a remarkable day!

Our tour guide Halley was informative and very attentive to everyone on the tour and the lunch provided was lovely. The tour of the gardens was good with good narration of the various areas by the guide, The palace itself was spectacular but very crowded inside and hard to move through some of the rooms. Overall very enjoyable day.

Our trip to Versailles was amazing. What made it more amazing was our tour guide. On both our trips booked on Viator our tour guides were very friendly, well informed and took great care of us. I would strongly recommend my friends to book via Viator for their trips.

We had a great time at Versailles!! Definitely a tour I would suggest. You get to see a lot and learn a lot of history. It is a lot of walking, but that was perfect for us.

This tour was well worth the cost. Train transportation to Versailles was quick and efficient. The half hour stop at the market was a great way to pick up some wine and strawberries for the packed lunch provided by the tour. Nick, our tour guide made the tour engaging, interesting, and totally worthwhile with his detailed and factual stories of the three Louis kings who inhabited Versailles. The grounds are spectacular and very picture worthy. Excellent lunch was provided - choice of three large sandwich on baguette (tuna, chicken, or veggie), a bottle of water, and a delicious pastry. The interior of the estate is beautiful but difficult to enjoy and see with so many tourists. Perhaps a day other than a Sunday would be better suited to enjoying the interior. Definitely some fire regulations were being broken! Returning to Paris by metro, Nick made sure each group knew where to get off for their stop. The eight hour excursion was a total pleasure and we met some wonderful people in our group of 18. I highly recommend the tour as a way to see and understand Versailles.

Great day out. Our guide Nick was very knowledgeable and made French history interesting -even to our 11 year old!! Great group of people on the tour which was limited to 20. The best bit was being able to skip the queue as it was huge and at least 2 hours long!! Lots of walking round the gardens and the house was fabulous but very very crowded and would have been difficult for anyone claustrophobic.
