The tour was well planned and ran smoothly. There were only 4 of us on the van so it was virtually a private tour. We were picked up promptly as promised at our apartment and delivered home in good time. The sites were beautiful and I would do it all again
Wonderful tour. Our guide was Sylvan. He was so kind. My daughter was sick the whole day and she never got out of the van. He was very attentive to her needs. It rained all day on and off but still managed to be a beautiful trip.
Great tour, very knowledgeable and informative tour guide. Fabrise kept us entertained and informed through the the tour. Would highly recommend this tour. Lunch was good also.
Wonderful day trip jam packed with 3 castles in one day. To be honest, one can spend an entire day at Le Château de Chenonceau which was utterly beautiful and had exquisite gardens. The tour began early in the morning at 6am for pick up and was fast paced with a lot of walking if you want to see everything. There were some older ladies, one with a cane, that was in our group of 5, and it was difficult for her to get around although I believe she enjoyed herself with what she was able to see. If you're staying a short while in Paris and want to make a productive day excursion, this tour is fantastic.
Long day but well worth it. Felt there was plenty of time at each castle to appreciate what each had to offer. Great to see that part of the country. Chenenceau was just amazing.
Door to door service and no line-ups. Lunch was very good. Tour guide, Phillipe, was knowledgeable and took good care of us. The three chateaus were very different from each other and so we had a good variety of experiences. Especially liked the way Amboise is built onto a hill and is surrounded by the village. The staircase and roof terrace at Chambord are amazing. And Chenonceau is best of all.....well maintained interiors that showcase the lives of the residents, beautiful fresh flower arrangements in every room, and a well told story of the history of the chateau. This chateau spans the river and has beautiful gardens that are the highlight of the tour.
Fantastic day trip! Would strongly recommend if you have the time to do so and small-group for this day consisted of myself and two other travelers plus our guide...in a sedan...not sure if the groups are always this small - but to me was more like a private tour than a small-group tour
This excellent trip took us to four stunning castles , each of which had its own individual character and history. Our guide Riccardo was informative, personable, and very knowledgeable, and was kind enough to make a quick stop near a fifth castle for me to take a picture. I highly recommend both the tour and the guide!
Had a fantastic day. Only 6 of us on the tour. 6am pick up from our hotel was right on time. Our tour guide told us heaps of information throughout the day. The Chateaux were all amazing particularly Chenenceau. Would have liked a bit more time there but overall great day out!!!
Wow ! This tour is worth doing ! The Chateaus are beautiful . The gardens are equally amazing .
Great tour! Guide was awesome, we enjoyed the quiet respite from the city for a bit. Castles were great and different from each other which provided a good variety.
The tour was GREAT! Our guide, Fabrise (sp?) was the best! It was everything we hoped it would be.
This was a great tour. It takes all day but you get to visit 3 castles. Drove through the Loire Valley with a small group of 7. We visited the castles in Chambord, Chenonceau, and Amboise. All were incredible. The guide/driver told us about each castle before entering and then you explore the castle on your own for about an hour and a half. Our guide, Olivie, was very knowledgeable and nice. Highly recommend it!
The minibus turned up dead on time at our hotel and that was the start of a wonderful day. The three chateaux were magnicent, but the day was made so memorable by Phillipe, the driver/guide. His driving, especially through the Paris traffic at the end of a long day, was safe and efficient. His knowledge of the chateaux and French history was extensive and passed on in an interesting but easy to understand manner. Phillipe soon had the group gelling and by the end of the day we were all friends. Absolutely brilliant, excellent value and highly recommended!
This was a great tour. It combined a swift transfer and efficient itinerary with 3 of the great chateaux of the loire. Lionel was a top guide and the group size was just right. Decent lunch, comfortable microbus and fair price made for one of the best days out on our paris holiday.
This tour was fantastic but what made it truly great was the tour guide, Fabrice. His knowledge and willingness to share information was better than any tour guide that I have ever experienced. He was fantastic and made the day! Many thanks, Fabrice.
Highlight of our time in France. Personalised tour, enjoyed getting to know our guide and fellow travellers. The castles were a great contrasting mix of size and style. Enjoyed our lunch and everything else about the day!
Immediate pick-up email confirmation, timely pick-up, two other hotel stops for van, good driver/one language/good knowledge for needed morning reststop, and excellent Chenonceux restaurant. Should have provided access to audio phones at the three selected chateaux- huge Sunday crowds
Excellent day trip.
Well worth the money and the tour guide was great.

This trip was excellent from start to finish. The tour guide (Jean) arrived at our hotel on time and was very informative and friendly, even making sure we got some coffee after the very early start !! At each castle Jean was very engaged and enthusiastic about what he was telling us. He also arranged a visit to a Loire winery for a brief tour and tasting which all appreciated. Even the organised group lunch at a local restaurant was very nice (lunches on tours are usually pretty average in our experience). The castles were all beautiful to look at, inside and out, and each had its own particular points of interest and history. The group of people on our tour were all very nice to spend a day with and even though he is french, we were all super impressed with Jean's ability to negotiate the rush hour traffic in Paris at the end of a long day. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and this tour guide and go on another trip again when we're next in France.
