the tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. I have recommended this tour to several people since I took it. I am really glad that I discovered it. The catacombs were amazing. Thanks
Interesting as well as informative, this tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. The catacombs are a fascinating place and finding out more about the history made it more vibrant. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour, but book before you go otherwise you can wait up to six hours in the line.Well worth doing but keep in mind lots and lots of stairs.
This was a great tour. We really enjoyed it. There needed to be headphones or something however because the group was too large and being that the catacombs are so narrow, if you weren't standing right next to her you couldn't hear her. Good tour however.
Excellent tour leader in a small group. Learned the fascinating history the development of this place and it's significance in the history of Paris. The guide advised us to not see a movie that had been filmed here in 2014 or released in 2014. I'm taking his advice as I'd not want the history I heard about diminished by some movie that doesn't honor the history at all.
Our guide Lucy was fantastic and it was a wonderfully informative and very cool experience
Excellent tour. Our tour guide Lucy was very knowledgeable and provided an enjoyable tour commentary.
The duration of the trip was just right and the guide was excellent and friendly.
Bit worried about this tour but turned out to be great . Guide was switched on plus a sense of humour , switched on with knowledge and understanding . Worth a visit worth the tour thanks guys
This was a great tour. Better than I expected. Very interesting.
So glad we booked this tour! The Catacombs are an incredible piece of France's history. Our tour guide, Demetri, was extremely knowledgeable. His expertise and thorough explanations of what we were seeing provided for a truly memorable experience. If you plan to visit The Catacombs-book this tour!
This tour was excellent! We got there early, at 8:30, and we were the first ones there. By 9:00 the line was around the block. It's worth it to pay extra for someone to hold your spot so you can grab something at a nearby cafe, and hearing the commentary is interesting.
Our guide was excellent. You can walk through by yourself, but it is so much more interesting to hear details about the catacombs. It's a neat place to see.
This tour was one of kind. You'll never thought that Paris has the largest graveyard in the world. Interesting stories were told during the tour and you can't go wrong when they say skip-the-line access. Highly recommended!
Had a great time, amazing tour guide and well worth doing the visit.
Worth every minute. We learned a lot about why the Catacombs are there and seeing the bones was very meaningful. Excellent guide.
The tour was outstanding, the time flew by. It was about two hours long and seemed much shorter. The guide was very knowledgeable and quite passionate about the subject. The only way to see the Catacombs!
This was an amazing tour! Our guide Lucy was very informative and fun. I would highly recommend the tour to others!
This tour was fantastic! The guide cant remember his name sorry was very knowledgeable and very entertaining throughout the tour. I would like to apologise on here as didn't know who else to write to for leaving the tour slightly early as my younger son was starting to get upset so I left quite quickly without a reason as the guide was in the middle of talking at a point and I didnt want to disturb. It was definately not because of him or the tour, it was a fantastic visit and a must-see in Paris.
Not for anyone who has limited mobility as there is quite a lot of steps down to the tunnels, and on the way back up again and I found this quite a struggle with my young son on his back carrier. Was totally worth it though, lots of history and tour guide was super! Highly recommend!
If getting RER the station facing the entrance is the denfert rochereau, and you get out of the metro and there is a small park facing you across the road and the entrance is to the right of that usually follow the giant queue of people!
