Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Small-Group Paris Catacombs Tour. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our catacombs visit. Victoria was knowledgable and friendly, providing information we could not have known otherwise. She also gave us advice on restaurants and other places to visit. For history buffs, this is a fascinating overview of Paris. Quirky cashier and slow moving line could make you crazy if you don't elect to "Skip the line." Definitely, skip the line and let your guide hold your spot.
Our visit to the Paris Catacombs was amazing. Our guide, Luke, was very informative and provided excellent commentary on the history of this unique underground grave of 6 million souls.
Our guide was great and the tour was great fun! Highly recommended!
We felt pretty dumb when we got off the metro and realized that even though the catacombs entrance was literally across the street, it was so insignificant looking that we walked in a circle trying to find it! The tour was incredible, and our guide was full of really cool information about the history of the catacombs. She was also absolutely wonderful with the kids who were in our group. While you can go to the catacombs on your own, it is absolutely worth it to take the guided group tour because you will learn so many interesting things, and then can impress your friends when you get home!
Myself and my 15 year old son went on this tour, joined by about 8 other tourists from England and America who were all delightful people too. The American family on our tour had 10 year old triplets with them, who were not only lovely children, but they enjoyed every bit of the trip too and they asked lots of interesting questions, which made it even more interesting for all of us! Anyone would enjoy this tour and you MUST book this skip the line tour and not queue up in hope, else you cold wait hours!
Our guide Victoria, was Parisien and she spoke perfect English and she had time for everyone, we cannot thank her enough for her knowledge and patience and friendliness throughout, she was a perfect tour guide. PLEASE DO book this tour - it is worth every penny and is an amazingly interesting thing to do, even if think you might be a bit squeamish - you probably won't be, as it is a historical and respectful place to be and you will be in awe and admiration of the workers who built this/worked on this. Do book it now! you wont be sorry you did!
We loved Kristina as our tour guide. She was patient, informative and fun. The group size was perfect which enabled us to move along easily and take our time. I would highly recommend this tour as something different but extremely interesting. PS. If you have to wait around for the tour to start, the Cafe Rendezvous over the road makes fantastic Hot Chocolate.
Great experience, Kristina our guide was magnificent and very informative which made the tour all that more wonderful
Great Trip. Great guide. Fascinating. Nice to skip the queue also.
