Good tour overall. Versailles and its gardens are breathtaking. I wouldn't waste your money on the optional fountain show - because apparently they were only doing the fountain show at the very end of the day in order to conserve water - and our bus left to go back to Paris before it. So, my fountain tour ticket was worthless.

The crowds were a little too much for us to completely enjoy this tour. But the palace was magnificent. And there is no fountain show as such. Just a lot of ornate fountains in large grounds which you can walk about.

After seeing the long line to buy general admission in the pouring rain - we were so happy to bypass that all and enter promptly with our guide. He was very knowledgeable and it was great!

The tour was fantastic. Unfortunately, when we were there, Versailles was very full. So, we couldn't really enjoy it.

The guide was fine, and for the most part the logistics were okay, though the headphones on the bus did not work and a little process description on how the voucher gets converted to two tickets would have helped. Overall, good enough.

Versailles was beautiful, but our tour guide was disorganized and a bit rude.

It would have been nice to see more of the vast grounds. With the time given and being on foot, I only got a small taste of it.

Great way to see Versailles. Try to catch the fountain show, it's worth it. Two things that could have been improved - the guide doesn't carry around an item easily recognizable for following such as a flag so it is very hard to catch up with the group in the crowded rooms. Second thing - toilets on the bus cannot be used, which is a very bad thing since lining up to use the toilets in Versailles could take up the better part of an hour! There's also no toilets in the Viator meeting point, which is not very service-minded.

The guide was very pleasant and attentive to the group. However the microphone/earphone sets were new and not very good. It is difficult when there are large crowds, but the technology should be better. Indeed it would be impossible without some kind of audio support so the idea was good but the execution needs to be improved.

This is a great tour! The palace is an amazing sight! Our guide was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend that you go in spring when the gardens are in bloom and you can see the fountain show though.

We enjoyed this tour, but would have preferred to have longer. I would suggest the full day.

The tour guide was terrific. However, there was no fountain show as advertised. Also, it was quite crowded and we were hurried through the museum very quickly with guided tours in front of us and behind us. The palace itself was beautiful and amazing. A must see if you visit Paris. The tour was organized, it left on time and we returned on time. Again, the guide was really great.

The Versailles guided tour was excellent apart from confusion about the coach departure point.
