The guide was good and on time. This was an excellent way to travel and see both Paris and the attractions.

Beautiful half-day tour with an excellent tour guide and driver. The hotel pickup service was very reliable as well.

Friendly hotel pick up and drop off service and you beat the massive queues. Just don't expect a guided tour or you'll be disappointed. You do however get the audio aids which are a blessing.

Very informed driver/guide for the half day tour. Gave a nice talk as we traveled thru Paris on our way to Versailles. Head phones and a walk through on your own is next. Crowded but you can go at your own pace which is nice. Explored gardens and met driver at designated meeting point for ride back to Paris. Nice morning trip. Plenty of time to shop after lunch.

We loved this tour BUT we booked and paid for a full day tour with a dedicated guide and instead were given a half day tour with an audio guide, which was NOT what we paid for. True at lunchtime we were switched on to the right tour, where the guide was excellent, but no refund was offered for the difference in price between what we got and what we paid for.

Versailles palace was beautiful and definitely worth doing. I suggest to do the Versailles tour first and then go and see the Louvre museum which is incredible.

Versailles Palace is a must do for visitors to Paris. The gardens were spectacular and the fountain display pretty good. Unfortunately most of the captions in the palace were in French and the audio guide could have been better to describe what we were looking at. A guide to accompany you in the tour would also be great. Our guide stayed outside and met up with us after the tour.

Versailles was as impressive as everyone said, and I found the audio guide was great. As I had understood we would have a guide, I was disappointed that it was just audio. Viator's ad is somewhat misleading, and my voucher indicates the services of a multilingual guide but doesn't specify that it's "only on the way to Versailles from Paris". In the end, we really liked the audio guide because the escorted tours were hard to hear. I would recommend this to others because the audio guides are well done and available in many languages.
My frustration was with logistics. I booked and paid for this tour for my husband, our daughter and myself. As such, I listed myself as the lead traveller. I have a different name than my husband. When I called the day before to confirm our tour, as requested, they had no record of our booking. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress. The tour company had put the tour in my husband's name. This happened a lot in Europe - there is some archaic custom of putting everything in the male's name, regardless of who booked and who is noted as the lead traveller. I had to spend valuable vacation time and phone call costs to try and get this straightened out, which, frankly, I didn't appreciate. Plus, when they finally did pick us up for the tour, they were confused as to why our voucher was in my name and not my husband's and doubted that we were actually booked on the tour. The tour operator needs to fix this. This really annoyed me and was completely unnecessary and stress-provoking.
If your wife really wants to see Versailles and you don't want to spend all day on a tour, this is the perfect solution. Four hours was more than enough time to take in the palace and see the garden. A full day might be a bit much.

The day was everything we'd hoped for. It was a shame we could not spend more time, but covered it comfortably. Also, look into the guided tour for the palace as well. Our driver was excellent; he was informative, helpful, and entertaining!

The weather was beautiful, the grounds were lovely, our tour guide/driver was accommodating, and the ease of entry was terrific. A good trip!

Versailles is a must. I loved visiting Versailles. I would have waited to have a personal guided tour rather than the headphones provided. The driver had a wealth of information to share with the group. He did a fine job.

If you are a real French history buff you will like it, but I found the palace a bit overrated particularly compared to the Louvre.
