The Versailles trip was fantastic even with audio guide. If I were to do it again I would definitely invest in to tour guide for all day. We were the first group in a morning and schedule to return back at noon, however we decided to stay until 5 pm and return with a second group. We had lunch in one of the cafes on territory of Versailles - not expensive at all! If you like historical sites you would most definitely appreciate the beauty of this place. Just imagine yourself as a royalty strolling thru the palace then parks observing lashes green gardens, attractively created fountains.

The bus took us from the meeting point to Versailles. We were given our access tickets and roamed freely throughout the palace and gardens. Magnificent!

Awesome!!! What a truly beautiful place, wished we had gone in Sept to see the fountains up and running. It was a shame because of the warm weather you would have thought they would have stayed on alot longer.

Not only did the guide talk on the bus about Paris and Versailles but the tickets to Versailles included an audio head set which was very interesting and detailed!

Expect crowds, however, the palace is magnificent. Viator was perfectly fine as the tour company.

This was a wonderful place to visit commentary on the bus was good and the fact that you could see things at your own pace was great. However the half day only scrapes the surface of what is to see.

A must-see! Would have liked another hour, felt a little rushed to get through the palace so that there would still be time for the gardens. Very comfortable coaches and excellent guide on the bus.

I would say "absolutely love it" if it wasn't for the "lady on the bus"--I cannot say "tour guide" because, as we didn't pay for the guided tour but for a free tour, she couldn't even tell us where the entrance was and said we were "putting stones in her shoes". Other than that, Versailles its AWESOME!!!! I recommend it.

Buy this on your own. You can take a train to Versailles from Paris for less than 3 Euros. The tickets at Versailles are half the price and you don't skip any queues with these tickets. The bus was HOT for the whole loading of passengers time. Everybody complained about it on the bus.
