The trip to the Versailles Palace was wonderful the gardens were amazing, our guide was very informative and a very nice person kept our group together at all times .
We had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip. The guides were very informative and congenial.
The city tour was grande, we saw all of the wonders of Paris and although the workers at the Eiffel Tower were on strike, Montparnasse was fun. We enjoyed the River Cruise and being dropped at the Eiffel Tower at the end of the trip was a bonus.
I would skip the lunch. Not very good.
Versailles is amazing. Our tour guide gave us great, in depth information into it's history. Unfortunately we went in February when the gardens are at their minimal, would love to go in the warmer months. Still very worthwhile!
The Seine River cruise was basic, relaxing and a good way to end the day.
Our tour included the lunch...this was not good! We went to an Irish pub and had 'authentic' French food cooked by 'Indian' chefs. There are so many beautiful cafes/restaurants in Paris, avoid paying for the tour which includes the lunch. We hope the tour company changes it's choice of venue!
We loved this tour, the Palace was amazing. Our tour guide was very nice and knew what she was talking about,
great way to see everything without having to spend your whole vacation standing in line!
good trip , city tour is a good overall but you cant see much , river cruise was fun
This is a great way to see as many highlights as possible if your time is limited. I highly recommend it.
Excellent!! The tour guide was very informative and helpful.
The trip was amazing, Versailles was spectacular and the tour guide was very knowdgeable, the Paris tour was quite informative and we got to see more than we thought we were going to see. The Eifel Tower was unbelievable beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed that as well as the cruise was a beautiful ending to an amazing day. Everything was well coordinated and it was not confusing at all as some of the reviews had mentioned. On the down side, the food and the service at the restaurant where lunch was served was very distasteful, both food and the restaurant service. It was worth the money except the food.
The tour was excellent! I enjoyed the narratives as we traveled to Versailles as well as the Paris city tour. There is definitely not enough time in the day tour to really savor and enjoy both Versailles and the Eiffel Tower visits, but this one day tour gives you the opportunity to see both places if you're short on time.
My only negative review is the choice of restaurant for lunch; its an Irish pub serving plain food.I think people can do better on their own (as in get better tasting French food around the tour office area than the choice given to you when you purchase the whole day ticket).
I recommend the tour but if you can avoid paying for the lunch, you're better off.
The tours were well organised. The only problem that it was a public holiday and there was a lot of queuing. Part of the tour was a lunch - that was not good, I think in Paris it should have a least been a brasserie, not an Irish pub.
The tours themselves were good, guides knowledgeable, but I think it probably was too much in one day.
THE TRIP TO VERSAILLES WAS GOOD BUT THERE WAS A MIX UP OVER OUR GROUP TICKETS AND WE WASTED APPROXIMATELY HALF AN HOUR WAITING TO GET INTO THE PALACE. I BECAME ILL ON THE WAY BACK TO PARIS AND COULDN'T COMPLETE THE REST OF THE TOUR - WE UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO FORFEIT OUR TICKETS TO THE EIFFEL TOWER NECESSITATING US PAYING FOR ANOTHER TIME SLOT BUT WE DID GET THE PASSES FOR THE RIVER CRUISE WHICH WE USED ANOTHER DAY - FELT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO DO THE PARIS CITY TOUR THE FOLLOWING DAY BUT THEY WOLDN'T CONSIDER IT
This tour covered all the places in Paris I wanted to see. The tour guides were helpful and informative. The only down side was lunch. When I am in Paris I do not expect to be taken to an Irish Pub and served Roast chicken and sloppy mashed potato.
Well-organized and travel guides were ver knowledgeable. Unfortunately for us, the afternoon session was wet / raining making some of sights not as pleasant. We were pleased we could take the Seine River Cruise on another day which we did, and took the night cruise which was spectacular. Will recommend to others.
