Loved this tour! Guide spoke clear English and was very well informed. I learned so much about the locations we visited and about the people who had made history there.

Fantastic day. No worries about transfers and getting to Giverny and Versailles. Lunch was adequate in a very nice setting.

My mother and I enjoyed another day with our guide from the 25th, Yvonne. She pointed out interesting facts as we rode through the old Norman town of Vernon, and as she led us through the misty rain to Monet's home and garden. We especially liked the way that she pronounced, then spelled, the various names, and we felt that she was very knowledgeable. At Versailles, we were in awe of our surroundings and could almost relate to life of Marie Antoinette, either from Yvonne's description or the fact that we had recently watched Hollywood's most recent version of "Marie Antoinette!"

The guides were excellent and spoke very good English. The lunch was excellent and the restaurant was well organised for the bus trip. Pity there was only 1 ladies toilet in restaurant.

Both lovely destinations spoiled only by the rain.
always book a small group tour if you can as they are quicker and easier than regular tours.

Versailles was awesome. There was an unusual number of tourists this day but our Guide was very good and very attentive.Just wished we had more time to explore the grounds.
Giverny was a pleasant surprise. The beautiful gardens and 'house' were very worthwhile seeing.
Would recommend this day trip.

Loved both the Monet morning and the Versailles afternoon. Next time I would take the whole day for Versailles because you need a few hours to walk the many miles of gardens....wish I could have done more.

The palace of Versailles lived up to its advance billing - it is simply spectacular! Our guide did a wonderful job of providing interesting details and answering all of our questions. We were unable to make this trip when in Paris in 2010 but made certain that we could attend this year. This trip is simply a "must see"!
