This was the highlight of our Paris tour. Our tour guide was generous with her knowledge and held us accountable for promptness. Monet's Garden is a must. I went in early September and the weather was perfect and all the flowers were in bloom. Absolutely stunning. We then made our way to Moulin de Fourge for lunch. This was sensational. The place was so picturesque and lunch was extremely pleasant. Palace of Versailles was a little bit of a let down, as many of the artefacts are not located there but in other museums and locations. We didn't see the fountain in action, but the gardens were stunning
We absolutely loved this tour. It was a perfect way to end our trip. Giverny and it's gardens are absolutely gorgeous and lunch was spectacular. Versailles was wonderful as well however the weather was very hot and there were so many tourists making it difficult to stay together and get a good look at things. We were there in the beginning of August so I would guess if you go during a different time of the year you won't have issues with excessive tourists and hot weather. Versailles was the only negative part of the day due to those things but the place itself we really enjoyed. Overall this is great tour and make for a relaxing day outside the city.
This was a great day - just a pity we could not spend more time at Versailles....
We will definitely return there. Monet's garden was beautiful and well worth the visit. Lunch was fabulous.
fantastic trip with an amazing guide, Stephanie was brilliant in all aspects. we were so lucky to have the same guide on our louvre tour which was a nice bonus
I'm not sure why reviewers rated this trip so poorly, but I thought this trip was amazing. At least it provided us a way to easily get to both locations because I don't think the metro rail would have gotten us to Giverny easily. Second, the included lunch was amazing. I've never gotten a 3-course meal on any one-day trip I've booked. Third, our guide, Lorena, was very knowledgable concerning the paintings and history of the people found in the palace.
Everything went perfectly. Our guide was excellent and the lunch provided was one of the best meals we had in Europe. Would definitely book again when travelling.
The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the tour guide very good, the resaurant meal delicous, and both Giverny and Versailles a worthwhile trip.
Skip the Line is definitely worth it at Versailles. Tour at Giverny is great and the lunch is fantastic at this picturesque location. Very knowledgeable tour guide too!
I missed the bus for Versailles My fault. I got lost 3 times on the way to the office..... But they were able to get me on the afternoon tour for Giverney, which I appreciated! Lots of walking, but it was spectacular!
Giverny beyond wonderful. Tour guide fantastic. Lunch in country more than we expected.
Our Tour Leader Jade and driver were excellent. Would highly recommend. Jade's knowledge and sharing of that knowledge was amazing. Lunch was excellent too.
Excellent tour. Giverny was lovely and the gardens were great. Plenty of time to see everything. Lunch at the old mill was superb and a very pretty location. The Palace of Versailles was amazing even with all the crowds there. We were able to see quite a bit. Would love to have time to spend more time in the gardens as they were unbelievable. Maybe next time !!
WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! THE GUIDE WAS VERY NICE, GIVERNY PLACE WAS INCREDIBLE! LUNCH BEAUTIFUL IN THE COUNTRY SIDE AND VERSALLES AWSOME!!!! THAMKS!
Excellent tour and excellent locations. We would've love just a little bit more time in the gardens at Versailles but it was a great experience overall
The tour was fantastic made our trip to Paris so memorable highly recommended
The trip to Giverny was on a comfortable coach bus. The house and gardens were wonderful. We were left to stroll along the gardens and tour the house on our own. Terrific photo ops. After 2 hours we met for lunch at a restaurant in walking distance from the Monet house. This was the only disappointment . The wine served was extremely acidic and the chicken lunch with mashed potatoes was fair at best.
We left and went to Versailles. Our guide told us to walk the grounds and then meet back in an hour to start our tour . The gardens were beautiful as we walked the grounds. We met our guide and made our way into the castle . Our guide took us through the castle and in each room she gave us interesting narrative of what we were seeing. Versailles is a must see.
Tour guide was good. The food we had was very good. The trip was well organized. Monet gardens were beautiful and Versailles was so interesting. Great trip through Paris City Tours.
Giverny was all we could have hoped for and more. Joelle? our tour guide was marvelous. So much knowledge about both places.
Versailles was also a place I would not have wished to miss but alas, there were so many visitors that it was difficult to enjoy all its beauty and history. Still both places are a must see.
The tour was very well managed and timely. Our tour guide was very informative, she gave us enough time to explore on our own and was very informative. The tour of CLAUDE MONET'S GARDEN in Giverny was absolutely beautiful and the splendor of Versailles was incredible. I highly recommend this tour.
Giverny was lovely and so was the restaurant where we had a beautiful lunch with amazing scenery. Versailles was also great but wayyyy crowded but no fault of the tour. Our guide Frances was brilliant. Lovely perfect day in France.
