The guide was knowledgeable and the tour was first class all the way!
The bus was centrally located and easy to find. The schedule was fantastic!
Monet Gardens was about an hour ride and beautiful! We toured the house, the pond, the little town and Monets garden.
Their were two guides, one group was in English and one in Spanish.
Lunch at the mill was a beautiful setting, lunch was delicious, wine, water and soda was included.
The palace was a short ride away, the guide walked us thru so we didn't have to wait on the long lines.
It was really crowded but we managed to see it all.
Afterwards we were free to roam the gardens, which were amazing!
A 25 minute ride back to originally bus stop
The day was very relaxing, amazing, and well worth the money!
To be truthful, the Paris taxi system let me down badly on this day so the tour I was meant to be on was turned into two. However, despite not being able to have lunch until late ( which my waistline didn't really object to) visits to both destinations were both interesting and informative. Both venues, especially Giverny, were top class except for the number of other people there!!!!
This tour was fantastic. Everyone was very professional and interesting. I am not a Monet fanatical but seeing his house and gardens was nice- smaller than I would have thought.
Our tour guide was great - very nice guy.
This one day trip is well designed. We visited Giverny garden in the morning, had a great lunch in France countryside hotel, and visited Versailles in the afternoon. But ride is very good. Our tour guides speak great English with good sense of humor. Most importantly, we got to skip 2 hour line of Versailles in a hot humid afternoon.
There were a lot of people visiting. The tour helped us move past the long lines. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history. Highly recommend.
We loved the tour. Shame it was so rushed. The guide was very helpful, informative and friendly. Giverny and Versailles had highly inadequate toilet facilities although the lunch ones were better. Wasted a lot of time in toilet queues. The place we stopped for lunch and the meal was absolutely lovely. Monets Garden was wonderful and the Versailles Palace spectacular. Thank you.
Tour guides were wonderful. Giverny was breath taking beautiful. Versailles was incredible with eye popping opulence. The best surprise of this trip was lunch! A quick 5 minute ride to a farm that had a mill converted into a restaurant. Delicious meal, beautiful setting, great service!
This was a great tour. Our guide was particularly great and the lunch at the water mill restaurant was lovely. Giverny and Versailles...what could be bad? Excellent tour.
This was the highlight of our time staying in Paris. From the minute we stepped onto the coach to the moment we got off it was fantastic. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and told us all about our two destinations whilst on the coach so when we got off we were free to wander. Monets garden was like stepping into the actual painting. A wonderfully serene place which had a lovely vibe. After time in the house , garden and Oriental garden (the waterlily garden) we were taken to a lovely picturesque mill house for lunch. Food and wine were of top quality and there was enough time given to enjoy the meal ( 3 course) and have some time to relax by the stream in the garden. On to the Palace of Versailles and a quick and swift entry (instead of queing) followed by a tour of the rooms and narration from our tour guide, then on to the gardens. It would have been nice to have been able to spend longer than we did in the gardens but I booked the tour knowing that it would just be a taster as the gardens are vast and a whole day at Versailles would probably be required. I would definitely give this tour a 10 out of 10 and recommend it.
Great tour of Versailles palace, gardens and Giverny. Timing was perfect. Had three guides speaking English and Japanese who were very well informed. Monet gardens were excellent. We had lunch in a beautiful village restaurant. We were taken round the Versailles in a well planned manner in optimum time. In short, everything about the trip was just perfect.
