Great experience, but if you have any special dietary needs for lunch, BE SURE to contact the office before the tour.

We loved the Giverny tour. The Versailles one leaves a little to be desired and it's better if done alone, with no tour guides rushing you through the palace.

We enjoyed the day out visiting Giverny and Versailles especially since the rain stayed away just long enough. We did not feel it was rushed. Our tour guide was very good.

Giverny is beautiful, and Versailles is just amazing. I just wish we had more time at Versailles to explore.

The tour guides, buses, and bus drivers were excellent. Giverny was lovely. Versailles was a nightmare. I have never been in such a terrible crowd: literally shoulder to shoulder, like cattle being herded through shoots. It was impossible to view anything or hear the guide, even with the audio device. Crowd size should be regulated better, and whatever pressure Viator can exert to accomplish this, it should be done.

The tour was great. The lunch was especially wonderful as we got to know some of our fellow tourists.

I wish we could have spent more time in the gardens in Versailles.

Our visit to Monet's Garden at Giverny was wonderful. There was plenty of free time to enjoy both the gardens and the house, although I would have saved a little more time for the shops in the village if I had realized how charming they were. We then relocated to Versailles. The lunch near the palace was very pleasant. We had time to wander through some of the extraordinary gardens before joining the informative guided tour through the main rooms of the palace.

My husband and I felt frustrated with the lack of time to fully explore both sites, but particularly Versailles. After I read the pictoral guide of Versailles, I realized how much we hadn't seen. The tour guide was animated and knowledgeable. We got lost trying to find our way back to the bus at Giverny and my husband has a keen sense of direction!.Directions and/or sineage could be improved. Our trip in the morning was significantly delayed by police control guards at a toll stop. Apparently the driver's papers were not in order. An explanation of the delay would have been more reassuring.

The combined tour was well worth the expense as it saved considerable time if we had to organize the individual tours to the sites ourselves. Would like to see a limit on numbers as a smaller group would have been able to hear everything the guide said. Fifteen would be the limit I set.

Giverny and Versailles were knock-out destinations. The meal was okay - nice restaurant, good wine, so-so food. Our guide was fantastic - knowlegable, helpful and obviously lovingly passionate about France and its history. One very glaring flaw was that we purposely went on a Sunday to see the water show at Versailles, but had to return to our bus to depart half an hour before Neptune's finale. A Sunday excursion that includes the water show should definitely last long enough to see the showpiece of the day!
