Both Versailles and Giverney are unique and a visit to France is incomplete unless you include a visit to Versailles at least. Well organised tour, and the lunch at Moulin de Fourges a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended

Versailles is quite nice but to many people. I would suggest that they learn how to control the crowds better, use Disney as a model!

Stunning. Firstly you visit Monet's house and gardens at Giverny. It was a lovely sunny day and the gardens were breathtakingly beautiful, a photographer's paradise. My advice would be to start in the Japanese gardens, which are through a tunnel on the opposite side of the road from the rest of Monet's estate. Then visit the rest of the gardens/house, which brings you out near the gift shop/exit. Next stop is the Mill at Fourges for lunch. Food was excellent and the location very pretty, on the river, behind the lovely old mill. Then on to Versailles, we went on a Saturday so the fountains were running and music playing in the gardens; amazing. Fountains only run on the weekends. Only negative point was the massive crowds especially at Versailles, where it could at times be difficult to stay with the tour guide! Long, long queue for toilets at Versailles, be warned! Bus very comfortable and tour guide was great! Highly recommended.

Excellent tour, informative guide, good lunch provided. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the extra time allowed to spend in Monet's gardens. The guide gave us an orientation to Monet while on the bus, then showed us where both gardens and the house were and how to access them, then we were allowed plenty of time to spend where we liked. So often on tours there is a rush to see so much I am left wishing I'd had more time. This tour was structured perfectly. After lunch we traveled to Versailles, with some explanation on the way. When we arrived we were directed to toilets in a restaurant which were severely inadequate for the tour group, in addition to being dirty and ill supplied. This was the only negative of the day. Guide gave excellent tour through Versailles and then again allowed us time on our own for the gardens or shop or whatever our interests. Good allotment of time throughout the day. Again, only negative was the toilet facilities. The restaurant had a sign posted requesting one Euro if you were not a customer but the facilities were so inadequate I did not pay. There ought to be a better option in this regard.
The whole day including the lunch was magical. One of the great "day outs"

The trip to Monet's garden was excellent and lunch was at the most picturesque location you could ever find, from there we went to the palace of Versailles, the mind boggles at the extravagance at the time, no wonder they lost their heads. All in all a very memorable tour and one I would recomend.
The guide was very knowledgable. So much was pointed out to us at Giverny, Versailles, and the country tas we traveled home from Versailles. This day trip is a must see!
