We really enjoyed the tour. Jeff was fantastic and very knowledgable. He went out of his way to ensure we were all happy. I would do this again as it was so much fun.
By far the best experience I had on my entire trip. Our tour guide, Anya, was great. I'd HIGHLY recommend this tour and her.
Our most fun day in Paris! Our guide, Drew, was absolutely the BEST! He brought to life the history of Versaille in an exciting way. We cannot say enough about him and his passion for this bike tour. We can't wait to do this again!
The tour was amazing and our tour guide, Anna was fantastic. She was knowledgable and passionate. Really brought the experience to life. Only way to see Versailles.
My favourite day in Paris. It was my 2nd your with this tour company and our guide Anya was fantastic. I am not used to bike riding but I totally enjoyed shopping for the picnic in the marketplace, riding through the streets and the cycling and picnic in the Versailles Palace magnificent gardens.
This was a fantastic way to see Versailles! Lunch at the grand canal was indescribably beautiful.
This is a great way to see Versailles. Our guide was Anna (can spell it both ways). Meeting in Paris and then on train to Versailles. After getting bikes ride to market to buy picnic lunch - then onto the grounds of the palace. You could easily spend the day just here. Lots of surprising places, interesting facts and probably the best picnic spot in the world. After lunch visit the Palace itself. Great fun, top guide and real value for money. Highly recommended. Thx.
Wow! What a way to spend the day! The trip to the outdoor market to buy picnic supplies, the bike tour and our guide were all just lovely! Our guide was Australian and I don't remember her name - sorry! She was wonderful! We met at the bike shop where our guide gave us the details of the day. We had to traverse Paris streets and trains to get to Versailles and she was so attentive to the pace of the group and our safety. When we got to the market she gave us some great insider info and plenty of time to pick up our picnic supplies. While touring Versailles grounds she gave us great history lessons and gave the group options for flow of the day. Once the bike tour was completed we were given our tickets to the palace and our ticket for the train ride home so we could enjoy the palace at our own pace. The guide will escort you through the group entrance so you don't have to wait in the longer lines. She gave us detailed instructions on how to get back and was also gave us the option to ride back with her later in the day, if we wanted to. I would tell anyone that they are not seeing Versailles until they do this tour!
Fun way to see Versailles. We loved looking in the market and picking out our picnic!
great weather for biking the huge area of Versailles and its history given by Dan, more than what I would read in a book. Great lunch and lunch spot.
Absolutely wonderful our guide was knowledgeable and gave lots of information fantastic day out
Excellent tour, Fantastic guide. Have been to Versailles before but this was so much more interesting seeing the grounds and peasant village that normally you dont have time. The riding was easy and very pleasant making a very enjoyable day.
Tour was great. It was as described and our tour guide Peter expressed his passion for the history of the palace and the people. The local market was great and ride itself was very easy. This tour is a great way to appreciate more than just the palace but the gardens, pheasants village and the history. We highly recommend this tour.
This tour was one of the highlights of our week in Paris. Rick was a great guide, and it was amazing to see so much of the grounds that many people miss. Getting picnic snacks at the market and eating at the royal picnic grounds next to canal was amazing.
What a great way to see this wonderful place. Anya, our guide was exceptional and taught us how to dominate while riding our bikes to the town markets and back. She also told us about the history of Versailles, the palace and the royals who resided there. Picnicking by the lake was very relaxing. If you can ride a bicycle then I would recommend seeing the palace this way as its a lot of fun and very relaxing.
I had to convince my husband to do this tour as he was a little apprehensive about a 10 mile bike ride but after the tour he said it was the highlight of our trip to France. Our guide was excellent and fun to be with loved the picnic on the canal and riding through the beauty of Versailles and seeing areas that you would not be able to walk to. Would do again it was a fun day.
Made for a long day but totally enjoyable. Visit to the market place to buy lunch and eat by the lake added a special touch to the day.
Anya was a superb tour guide; friendly, helpful but above all so knowledgeable about all of our many questions. Versailles is so huge that the bicycle tour makes such eminent good sense. Highly recommend your service. thank you. Robert and Patricia Gould
Our guide was Rick, and he was great! He shared interesting information about Versailles, and he was helpful in every way. The bikes were in good condition too. We really enjoyed the picnic on the canal looking back at the chateau, and we would definitely recommend this tour!
The tour guide (Kristy I think her name was) was awesome, very knowledgable and funny. I loved this tour and would highly reccommend it to everyone.
Great way to get around and see more of Versailles than most people. Our picnic lunch was exceptional as the market is a food lovers paradise with even a half bottle of wine available . The palace part had head sets provided for a self guided tour which was great as at the end of the day we are all happy to separate and do our own thing. Our group had many different ages cycling and all looked pretty happy .
This tour was amazing. The perfect guide, Claudia, with all her knowledge and wit. Great small group to ride with.
Loved going to the market , riding the trails of Versaille, exploring Marie Antoinette's Hamlet and settling next to the lake for our lunch. And topped it all off with the Chateau.
